I made a reservation October 11th. They didn't have any car available even though I had made the reservation They gave me a b.s. spiel about their system being down. Supposedly, I was on the wait list. I am still waiting (today is October 25th).

I would like to give zero stars. Why? I made a reservation in advance and they told me two days before the reservation that the reservation was confirmed. I went to pick up the car (was dropped off!) and they said they didn't have a car for me and wouldn't have a car for me at all that day. I had to call to get a ride home. They basically pulled the rug out from under me. I do not ever want to do business with enterprise rental car again! This is the worst way to run a business. By they way, when I complained that they didn't have a car, they said they tried to call me that morning. As if calling me at the last minute to let me know they didn't have a car was going to make everything OK. I hate to leave bad reviews. But I think everyone should know about this.

Rented from this location with little to no issues. Just make sure you read what you need to rent, and you'll have no problem. My first car had a couple issues, but they were quick to help, and made things easy. Would definitely rent from them again.

The car and the customer service were good. Our area is economically disadvantaged. The fact that you are charging more than other areas is not fair.

This is the 6th time I have made a rental appointment with Carbondale Enterprise, they NEVER have the car available!! They told me today that they have 31 reservations and not enough cars to serve their customers-who does this??This place has to be the WORST enterprise location in the country.

After my experience today 7/3/23, I will never be doing business with this location again after the failed communications from them for over 4 hours when I was needing picked up for my rental. Then after getting another ride they finally told me at the desk that I needed a bill to pay with a debit card. My next time the employee can try to help not tell me to not return since her company messed up.

I reserved a vehicle via Expedia three days before reservation. I showed up for my noon reservation five minutes before. In order to use my debit card, they told me I would need a 30 day current utility bill. I go home and cannot locate one, call them at 12:45 to tell them. I call my water company and they reprinted me the latest bill. I call Enterprise back one hour after my reservation (1pm) and tell them I have a utility bill. They tell me they no longer have my car available. Seriously? I then call Enterprise in Marion and Cape Girardeau with no luck, neither have available vehicles. Corporate office is my next call. Corporate told me they would 'escalate' my need for a vehicle and to wait for a call from the Carbondale office and I'll need TWO utility bills. It's 4:20pm and I'm about to call, not expecting anything positive. I've already canceled one day off my planned trip, the professionalism from the Carbondale Enterprise is worthless. I'll change my review if I'm in a vehicle by 5pm.

Told me to show up for my reservation at noon on Christmas Eve.They were closed- did not warn me. And I am now missing Christmas this year due to their stupidity.

By far the worst experience I've had with a company Carbondale is by far the most unprofessional branch they have I was supposed to be picked up between 9:30-10am and is going on 12 i wish I could give them zero stars cause honestly that's what they deserve I called them at 8 this morning to confirm my appointment and they said they would be on time but weren't obviously

Ruined my whole day personally. Was trying to take my girlfriend out for her birthday. Made the reservation days in advance. When I get there before the time I need to rent it mind you , I was told there were no rental cars available. And that there wouldn't be any rental cars available until Friday. I didn't make a scene or a big deal about it because it's just expected at this point. But I just want you to know you ruined my day and my girlfriend's birthday. You will never get my business again.
