Not sure what the hate is all about on the local Kroger. Diet Coke 1.25L for $1.50 on sale. Self checkout available, no line, out of there pronto. Would seem more folks shop here than the Schnucks. There's pros and cons to both.

Clean, with spacious layout. Great selection of traditional grocery items, as well as, a large salad bar and assortment of other prepared foods. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
