University Mall has seen better days and lacks many stores, with only a few like Hot Topic and Finish Line remaining. The mall features a science museum and has a cool retro aesthetic, but it feels mostly empty and is described as a ghost town. Despite its decline, some visitors appreciate the cleanliness and the good service at the food options, although prices can be high. While there is a variety of accessories available, the overall shopping experience might not be enough to draw in crowds, as many prefer traveling to other malls in nearby areas.
Not much to see but the shops that are there are worth checking out. Lot of room to move about and take a great walk in climate controlled area.

Not what it was before when I lived in Illinois. Almost a ghost of stores. Wish stores would return there, I'd love to take my kids more when we take trips to Illinois

Not to many shops in the mall but they do have the sciences center in the mall for kids.
