Wow..i was really impressed. I came in for tires. The auto center was well manned, the manager gave me excellent service. He quoted me for 4 tires, wipers and a roadside warranty. I was pleased with the price and his knowledge of the products. I was then directed to the service writer who wrote up my order, gave me a ticket and said they would text me when the car was ready. They all wore masks, had hand sanitizer at the entrance, put on protective coverings in the car and took great precautions during this Covid19 pandemic. I then went into the store to do some shopping. There were many employees working hard at stocking and cleaning shelves. I stopped to ask multiple employees about different things i was looking for and they were all so friendly and knowledgeable of their store. I even asked the pharmacist about his recommendations for a cream for my grandson and he was so helpful. The lot was clean. The cashier was incredibly friendly, and even though she had a mask on, I knew she was smiling. I really was super impressed! I would give this store 10 stars if I could.

It's Walmart right? I'm not the biggest Walmart fan but they do have pretty much everything. This Walmart is nicer than most of the other Walmarts that I have ever ventured into. Cashiers were nice. By the way, this is not Sam's Club, you are not bound by membership terms. That means that you do not have to show a receipt when you exit the store.

You pretty much HAVE to check yourself out, even then, it is a wait just to do that. Then, after all the self service you have to do, they DO have personnel to check your cart there (can't check you out, but can hold you up even longer before you finally get out the door) Wal Mart, you have cured us, went to Krogers for the weekly shopping today. Where I actually got some service.

Great place to shop. The Grocery pick up option is a great time saver. They load everything in your car for you and the associate are always friendly. They bring out your groceries and you can be gone in less then five minutes. The produce is really great. I love the new look to the bakery.

Why would they put cashier on the job if they are too young to ring up alcohol. If that's the best thing for them they need to alert you before you stand in line for 15 minutes behind sharikya who picked out all the wrong wic items .

I came here with the expectation that Walmart carries every item known to mankind for the lowest prices. I went in search of an entire 80's themed outfit. I DONT THINK I AM ASKING FOR TOO MUCH!!!!!! Not only was I unable to find an entire outfit but I also felt disrespected by the lack of options. Thankfully, I was able to purchase a XL boy's neon cut off that said "crush it" and that somewhat quenched my thirst for the 80's. Idk man, it's walmart why are you even bothering reading this review

This is a pretty standard Walmart. It's always pretty clean, and the staff members have never been anything other than friendly. It's pretty well stocked most of the time, and there's usually enough cashiers working where checking out isn't too big of a problem. I have had a problem more than once however with finding expired food on the shelves. I agree with another review on here- check twice before you buy.

What would Carbondale do without Walmart. There would be nowhere else to go for a one stop shop. Kroger is okay for groceries, Schnucks is overpriced, and that only leaves Walmart. And then I can go to electronics to get my movies, sporting goods for my running gear, pharmacy, you name it. The associates are friendly and the new self checks are the way to go for me. I have always supported the store and always will. The only thing they don't sell that I like is under armour and Adidas.

I bought a tube of toothpaste there last week. Today, when we went to use it, it was all oily, with this yellow slime oozing out everywhere. Gross! "Is it from the peroxide?" my partner asked, just as I saw that it had a 2004 expiration date. 2004. It's 2012 right now. Obviously, they don't check their stock very well. Stay away from the Colgate Baking Soda & Peroxide Whitening Brisk Mint Paste, that's for sure. Check the expiration date on EVERYTHING.

Do you want to visit a convenient location where you can find all the dregs of society mixed into one spot? Come to Walmart! This place is ridiculously difficult to leave. Not that exiting the store is hard, but getting out of the parking lot is annoying. Traffic coming in from the highway has the right of way, and turning left (or going straight, if you take the exit closer to the store) is a serious pain in the butt to get out. I really with the city would make this less terrifying experience. As for inside? The prices are deceptively high. DVDs are horrifically overpriced. Soda is too high (you can usually find it cheaper at a grocery store). Random doodads are the same price as other stores without the moral reprehensibility of how they treat the employees. Go to Target.
