“Certified Automotive Repair Specialists (C.A.R.S.) is a locally owned and managed automotive repair shop by Jason (Mechanic) and his wife Stephanie (receptionist/assistant) who provided a thorough and in my honest opinion outstanding review of my truck needing repaired that was just shy of being required to be taken to the scrap yard. Jason fit me in on the schedule and communicated all issues he discovered as he navigated through the engine. Got it running for me and gave me a list of all the problems he had discovered and what was still needing done. Didn’t try and squeeze more money out of me, just wrote down and explained to me before I drove off that these were the identified problems and what to expect if they weren’t fixed within a couple of months. I appreciated his willingness to take on a job that was extremely difficult and challenging from a random person he had no prior knowledge of working with on a truck that was completely riddled with problems. Some who lack ethics or morals would have saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of the situation but Jason and Stephanie did the right thing and upheld their end of the bargain. Priced fair and I’ve already got back on the schedule to finalize a few loose ends. Would highly recommend and not to listen to the negative reviews. Honesty, integrity and quality is what matters to this little shop in Carmi and that’s hard to find these days. 10 out 10!”
“My car needed struts, Don said drop it off at closing time Monday and he would get to it sometime Tues, 10am Tues morning it gets a call that it was already done and he didn't try to rob me. Definitely best place in White county.”
