I have had nothing but inconsistent and incompetent service since BMO took over this bank from Bank of the West. The latest being on June 26, 2024 I paid the loan off in full. The customer service rep gave me a pay off amount and assured me if check was dated for that day we spoke and mailed immediately there would be no interest further charges. Which I did. He said the title for the vehicle would arrive in 7-10 days upon them receiving payment. I did not receive a title but rather a statement showing zero amount due. Called BMO to ask about title and girl insisted I owed another $56.00. Clearly interest must have accrued even tho she insisted only .16 was interest. Perhaps that’s all on this new balance but I suspect they charged it on the payoff we already sent in. Now it will be up to 3 weeks to receive title. And this is just the latest incident… would not recommend this bank to anyone.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Bryan was beyond helpful and got things done efficiently and quickly, which is not always common in the banking industry.

Unprofessional… Contacted me about owing on a safety deposit box and their was no safety deposit box and then they charged me a fee for being late. I gave him information I shouldn’t have before I knew we didn’t have a box with them. Be mindful.

This is probably the WORST bank I have dealt with in 81 years. I have two loans there and can NOT reach anyone to help find out why a check I sent over a week ago hasn't posted. THEY have so many prompts on their phone, you can't get the correct one and NO LIVE PERSON to ask. DO NOT BANK OR GET A LOAN HERE

Was with Bank of the West they sold out to BMO bank .The worst bank to deal with. Been with them for 3 months and they claim they never get our mailed payments. They want us cancelled check with bank and do a payment online. We refuse.Never had a problem with Bank of the West. Rating 0

For the holidays, a @bmo_us (instagram) customer service agent processed a payment FOUR TIMES the amount I authorized. When trying to fix those mess, I was transferred to BMO CANADA -- apparently the agents don't know how to do their jobs. More than 30 minutes later of being on the phone they promised a refund via mail. What a joke! Do not do business with BMO! Not worth the headache!

Bank of the West used to carry the loan that I have for a travel trailer, and they sold out to BMO. I had never heard of then until that change. I get ultra frustrated each time I have called to inquire about getting a monthly statement. First of all, I can never get a clear speaking English person. They all sound like they are Asian or Philippine. I finally was able to get a person in a managerial position and finally was told they do not send out monthly statements on loans, so I just had to trust that I wasn't overpaying. I get a different response for the same question and stuff they make you go through "for security" reasons is just frustrating as hell. I have about three months to go on my loan before it is paid off and let me tell you, I will NEVER work with BMO ever again. Found out they are not even an American company rather Canadian. Another minus in my opinion.

OMG, I am a former Bank of the West customer and since BMO has take over my loan it has been a nightmare. Since I have been making my payments on time to BMO the entire amount has been applied to interest. When I called the call center I was told that is how BMO does it. When I asked to speak to the loan department I was told they had all ready gone home for the day, at 10am. When I called a branch in Denver I was told I needed to come in. I live 8 hours away. Mike at the branch called the loan dept and told me it has been taken care of, yet when I get my December payment coupon I see the entire amount has been applied to interest again. When I called another branch in Denver they could not help me, could not help me, could not give me a number for the loan department, and after taking my phone number I was told someone from the loan department MIGHT call me. BMO has been pathetic at customer service, follow up and satisfaction. If you are considering a loan at BMO, do not. My experience shows they only apply payments to interest so you can’t pay down your principal, they won’t follow through on what they indicated they would do and they do not give any satisfaction. I had to give one star otherwise you cannot post. I would like to talk to someone from the loan department if there really is one. Thank you and have a nice day

Not related to this location: I have been a customer of Harris Bank for quite some time, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. One of the most significant issues I've encountered is the bank's tendency to disable credit/debit cards without any prior notification. This has happened on numerous occasions, leaving me stranded without access to my funds and scrambling to find out why. Another major letdown is the failure of the bill pay system to process a simple address change. This oversight resulted in a late fee and a negative credit entry from my mortgage company. The lack of attention to such critical details is not only frustrating but also has real and negative consequences for customers. The most aggravating aspect of my interactions with Harris Bank is the consistently poor customer service. Each time I've encountered issues, I've been directed to a call center where the agents appear to lack the necessary competence and understanding to address my concerns. The experience of dealing with unhelpful representatives only adds to the frustration of already problematic situations. In summary, my experience with Harris Bank has been marked by a series of disappointments, ranging from disabled cards to billing errors and inadequate customer service. I am left questioning the reliability and trustworthiness of the bank, and I'm actively exploring alternative banking options that prioritize customer satisfaction and clear communication.

Some teller and manager here are useless. Everytime you go to withdraw money more than $1000 and provide all identification they check your account to find something and not give you money. Every person they look at like they done something wrong. MANAGER HERE NEED TO BE FIRE along with few teller.

Website is extremely glitchy. I get error codes when trying to pay online. If you call, expect 15 minute hold times. If you want to use your rewards, log in to a different site for that (which is also apparently down). When I called back a 3rd time, they transfer me to a different dept to give a different site to log in to. This site says "My information does not match their records." So now I'm calling again, in which case they transfer me again only to wait in hold again. Thank you for making online banking the most difficult process in the world ??
