Just had my first and last experience with Crash Champions carol stream. Was told I would be able to pick up my car and that it was ready. I Go to the establishment and they tell me I needed to wait another hour to have it cleaned. That doesn’t sound like it’s ready. I needed to take my car right then because of work and I had no transportation and now I look like an idiot with the words chips and scratches written in marker on my hood. The work done was fine but I won’t be returning.

I am very pleased with the work of crash champions. They were professional, prompt, and provided excellent service. Kim especially was amazing!

I had a very positive experience at this location last month. Kim was very pleasant to work with. She kept me updated regularly with texts and phone calls. My car was ready in a much shorter time than they estimated and it was very clean inside and out when it was returned.

Repair work at Carol Stream left the car looking like new. Car was ready earlier than promised. Kim was awesome to work with, between phone calls and texts. Never had any worries or doubts.

Kim and staff were very professional and kept me informed every step of the way. Kim was knowledgeable, polite, and made certain that I was happy with the repairs and service.

I completely agree with the negative reviews! They charged my insurance company nearly $8k (if not more) to fix a bumper, and it took over three weeks to complete the repair. To make matters worse, they returned the car filthy inside. Seriously?! For a job that expensive, you couldn’t even offer a basic courtesy of having the car cleaned and detailed?
I would not recommend this place. Once again, it’s another shop that clearly does not prioritize customer satisfaction.

this place is an absolute joke, the owners dont care about your car. only profit. i had to get my door fixed after one of the employees backed into it while it was getting worked on and it took them 2 months to get a new door for my car. Also when i got my car back it absolutely REEKED i thought they were supposed to clean your car after a service!??? DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! i wish i wouldve just went to bartels which is right down the road

Update: It’s January 24th 2025. See below response. They told me to contact them and they never emailed or called me back after I left them 2 emails.
They don’t care after the work is all said and done. I went in for them to fix my car and when I got my car back there were terrible scary smelling fumes of paint in my car giving me an extreme migraine which almost resulted me in the hospital. They fixed my bumper didn’t even clean my car, threw some paper mats on the ground but they greased my steering wheel so much that when I got my car back after them having it for a month I went to get gas and as I was turning my wheel to the pump station, due to my hand being under the wheel when turning it slipped out of my hands and bumped the pole that protects the gas pump. This was just a few days after I got my car back. I called Tommy to escalate this problem and he wouldn’t give me his bosses number. His attitude was terrible and then had to ask several more times and I finally got the number. Joe called me back telling me he would come to my house and check the car out and he never called me back nor did he show up. The migraine made me miss out on all my Christmas activities plus the hundreds of dollars I spent on tickets for an event. They dismissed me so badly that I’m writing a review. I really wish this was my fault so I can just take accountability but they had no right giving me back my car with that stench and that much oil on my wheel. Also, ladies, be careful, I noticed they enjoy talking to men more than women.

My Jeep looks brand new and the service was quick and amazing. Andy was extremely helpful with our claim and my car looked brand new at pickup!

Make sure to check your car after repair. They put painting on it without repairing my car and when I confronted them they got offensive not even letting me talk. The worst car repair shop. I am never going back there

Great shop, quality work and great people. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Worked great with my insurance company and my car was clean when I picked it up!
