This Lowe's is a complicated story. One part of me wants to complain how hard it can be to find help in an otherwise empty store and half of the associates you find are walking around ignoring you or on their phones. But the other half of my trips have been outstanding with great customer service - especially from Sam. Either way, it's not a bad place to shop.

Barry and Mitch were very helpful and answered all of my questions so I could get the lights that were appropriate. However I didn't get (honestly I didn't think to ask) a hard copy of the protection plan I paid for. It took me more than 35 min to get any info via phone and then it was wrong. I did call the store and the nice person told me where I could get it online. Seems I'm not in the system so i will have to fight that battle another day.

Actually much better than Home Depot now that HD's mission is to be bigger than Walmart.

Worst day of my life ever to ever order anything from Lowe's online. Lowe's delivered my order to the wrong address and told me that's too bad we can''t help you or refund you... I called over 7 times that day about this wrong delivery address order to speak to costumer service and even talked to supervisors, they all said that's too bad because we can't help you. I paid $15 extra for shipping the order less then 10 miles away for my part that was only $19.38.... I paid $34.38 total with their bad shipping and wasted my whole day calling them to fix this problem. Lowe's does not insure the shipping nor stands behind their product orders or deliveries at all to any of their customers. I had to drive and pick the part myself at the wrong delivery location instead or I would of lost all my money totally. Thanks to Lowe's unethical customer service departments...

Wanted to buy some exterior house wash and while I was still shopping inside the store the bottle leaked bleach all over me. Ruined my shirt and shorts. Went to the service desk and spoke to the store manager, he said the only thing they can do is if i buy new clothes they can refund it. I went out and bought new shorts, shirt i bought from my favorite BBQ place in Austin so that i can only get online or if I go down to Texas again. Went back for the refund and asked if I placed an order online for the shirt in front of him if that would be ok. Store manager said no, needs a physical paper receipt. I just wasted 2 plus hours in bleached soaked clothing and have to jump through hoops for defective leaking products they are selling. I'm just glad i didn't notice it was leaking and bleached my cars or house carpets. Went back to the display and almost every bottle had dried up bleach residue on them.

I purchased 3 appliances (washer, dryer and refrigerator) with protection plans on Black Friday 2021. Since delivery the following week, I have had issues with 2 of the 3 appliances and every issue was due to the delivery.
Initially, when I called about the dryer taking 2 hours to slightly dry me clothes and giving off a bad smell, Lowes told me to 'give it time' or said 'that's normal' until
I finally went up there to speak to someone. The dryer was replaced. The delivery men that brought the new dryer informed me that it wasn't the dryer that was the issue, it was that the previous delivery men didn't hook up dryer vent - they laid the hose that should vent outside NEXT to the hole at the base of the dryer, rather than actually hook it up.
I finally got someone from LG to come out and look at my fridge/freezer today.
They were able to resolve my problem and explained that whoever set it up, didn't set it up properly. It was off balance, they put the hinges on the door incorrectly, which is why it wasn't shutting properly and eventually caused the issue with the seal (why I called them) allowing warm air inside.
Lesson: I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's again. Never. And Peter - who I'm still waiting for a call back from since March 5th - he needs to go. He was nothing but condescending and didn't know what he was talking about. Dryers today should NOT take 2 hours longer than older dryers. Nice way to push me off beyond the date I could return my purchase and onto somewhere else to make it ‘not your problem’.
UPDATE: 2024
I haven’t used the dryer much due to the smell. I had someone come out to clean the dryer vents this week. Long story short, it turns out when Lowe’s people installed the dryer, they cut the venting coming out from the wall to hook up their venting to the dryer…but it wasn’t ever actually connected. So, the dryer wasn’t venting out of the house, it was venting into the wall which is why the smell has been there every time I run the dryer since the day I bought it. I had it fixed and the dryer no longer gives off the smell when I run it. They even cleaned up as much of the lint from the walls and insulation as possible and checked for mold. This was all on Lowe’s installation. I’ve had and complained about the smell since the day they installed the dryer. Will never again buy from this company.
