Poor customer service. Asked for a manager who promptly hung up on me. Really? Will take my business elsewhere. (Call Center)

Worst bunch of ppl ever! I went in and asked James the guy who assisted me about new account enrollment since there was only 2ppl in the bank I should have known no one wants to bank there. He set me up with all that was necessary for $150 promotion. Then he forgot to have me sign something and called 3x a day and said he will have his manager stop by my house to get the paper. HOW PROFESSIONAL! then I called Rhonda at Bartlett bank to make sure this guy set me up well coz he didn't seem professional. She said yes but up the direct deposit so u don't accrue fees. So I did. Then, Rafael the drama queen comes along and says he has made a decision that I have passed my time limit and associated will not credit $150 even though it is their employees' error. I asked for his boss Ernesco Guillen who says he the man in midwest and he agrees eith Rafael. TRUST ME! WHEN THERE R SO MANY AWFUL UNPROFESSIONAL PPL IN ONE ORGANIZATION U DO NOT WANT TO BE A PART OF IT. Maybe my outcome after 3months of doing what I was told by their employees to get the $150 promotion would be different if I was Mexican. Who knows!

My phone inquiry was responded to in a personable and professional manner. Sergio, the branch manager, appeared interested in resolving MY problem. Unfortunately, I had to close an account, and was seriously regretting this decision during our interactions. I was highly impressed by the service of this institution. I would strongly recommend Associated Bank, especially, the branch at 7675 Miller Rd managed by Sergio.
