“I have been bringing my dogs to the Animal Doctor since 2014 and have always been provided compassionate care from the entire staff. I have taken 3 dogs to the animal doctor, all of which have had severe complications from tick diseases and Dr Daus has provided the best care for their needs to get them healthy again. One of my dogs does not enjoy the vet after having an ACL surgery and is quite a handful but Dr Daus has worked with us to find a way in which we can take him in and is comfortable for him and the staff to provide the care he needs. Can’t recommend the Animal Doctor enough!!”

Whether it’s an emergency visit, or a well check, the staff are responsive to my questions and doing what is best for my cat. The staff excels at putting cats at ease. Mr. Buxco loves Dr. Butler so much he’s actually head butted her! Before finding Barrington, I had tried a number of vets in the Chicago area and felt that they did not treat Mr. Buxco with the care he deserves. At Barrington, from the waiting room to the patient room and all the way to the follow up emails and calls, Dr. Butler and the rest of the team at Barrington listen to my concerns, pay attention to my cats symptoms, and work to keep Mr. Buxco feeling his best!!! “I have been taking my Bernedoodle puppy to Cleveland Vet Clinic for a just under a year now (July 2025 - Feb 2026 and beyond), and please believe me when I tell you that they have taken such compassionate, wonderful care of him since he came into my life at 3 months old. He’s now 10 1/2 months and I couldn’t be more pleased with their care.
Their hours are convenient for all working people since they are open til 8pm on weekdays and 2pm on Saturdays, and, when they say they will call you back with info or an answer to your question, THEY WILL ACTUALLY CALL YOU BACK! The same night!
All the staff, techs, and doctors are fantastic at what they do; they are friendly and welcoming (thankfully ??) to new pet parents like myself, and graciously guided me every step of the way, which helped me make sure I was doing everything for my puppy on time and to the best of my ability so I could keep him happy and healthy!
Obviously I tried to learn as much as I could on my own before getting my baby ??, but there really is no substitute for the opportunity to ask questions and draw on the knowledge/experience of the medical professionals at Cleveland Vet Clinic.
My puppy Luca will be a patient here for years to come!!

“I have 2 XL breeds (Rottweiler and Bernese Mountain Dog) I brought in to visit one day after the other. Their technician, Katie, was a standout. Very kind and welcoming. It was nice to see a team not afraid of my XL breeds and interacting with them although they are both reserved when meeting new faces. I'll be brining in my bullymix at the end of the month. Looking forward to it!”

“My dog had TPLO surgery at a vet in Chicago and then we came out here for her post surgery care and rehab. The vet was knowledgeable and kind, super great communication and explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and gave me her email in case I had more questions or needed to contact her directly. Also they provide tons of rehab services in house so I was able to plan out and schedule a bunch of different types of treatment really easily. Highly recommend!”
“Animal Care Clinic is always great with my 2 dogs. I’ve seen several of their doctors and never been disappointed in the quality of care. This time I saw Dr. Paul who helped reassure me that my aging dog is not in pain and that we are doing all we can to help him age with comfort and dignity. We had a compassionate discussion about quality of life and I felt a huge relief knowing my pup is still enjoying his life comfortably. We also talked about how to tell when quality of life is deteriorating and, while not a fun topic, Dr. Paul was both kind and realistic.
Pet care can be expensive but I trust ACC to help me determine what’s healthiest for my pets and that is 100% worth it. Thanks to the entire staff from check in to techs to doctors and everyone behind the scenes!”

“My wife and I switched to Forest View Animal Hospital a few years ago, back when they were still located off Huntington Road in Hoffman Estates. One of the main reasons we made the change was because it had become nearly impossible to get our dog, Winston (a 7.5-year-old Cockapoo), into our previous veterinary office.
From day one, Forest View has been incredibly accommodating — from the front desk staff, to our primary veterinarian, and especially the office manager, Suji Kim. Winston used to shake uncontrollably and practically beg to leave our former vet’s office, but now he is genuinely excited to go to Forest View and see his new “friends.”
We’ve been going to Forest View for several years and even followed them to their new location off Golf and Barrington Road, despite it being 10–15 minutes farther for us. That alone says a lot. They greet and treat Winston like he’s one of their own. They consistently do their best to accommodate last-minute appointment requests, and if they can’t, they always offer realistic options in the near future.
Their pricing is reasonable, and they’ve proactively suggested ways for us to save money on future care Winston may need. Winston was our “kid before the kids,” so his health and safety mean everything to us. Forest View Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to provide that level of care, and Suji Kim is truly the best.”
“I took my pups in for their first visit on the 14th of march. I have 2 pomeranians, female 10 months and male 8 months old. The reason for the visit, my 10 month old female has bilateral luxating patellas, grade 3. She was diagnosed by a different vet. The first suggested surgery in May when she is a year old and her growth plates closed. I went to the Shore for a second opinion. My second pup was along for the ride.I was so happy with the enthusiasm and care i recieved there. They loved my pups and the pups loved them. They were on board with my choice in holistic care for them and even helped me with recipes for homemade dog food.Outcome is no surgery at this time, and see how she progresses with exercise and mild manipulation. Essentially continue doing what I've been doing.The office is clean and does not smell like wet dog. They treat exotics as well as offering alternative therapy such as acupuncture and chiropractic care. All of this is the reason i will be transferring the care of my pups to them, even though it is not close to my home.”
“Red Barn and Dr. Kwan saved my dog's life! He was scheduled for a double knee surgery with Dr. Kwan at Red Barn last October. He was healthy as a horse leading up to the surgery other than his bum knees. On the day of surgery, I dropped him off as scheduled. A few hours later, Red Barn called and said he needed to be seen by an emergency cardiologist right away. I took him to Thrive in Hoffman Estates, who was also instrumental in saving Marley's life. We had no idea he had a congenital heart disorder. I am so thankful for Red Barn and Dr. Kwan's expertise and how they took swift action and referred me to the right specialists. Marley was cleared for surgery and a month later had a successful

“The shelter vets provide low cost vaccine clinics throughout the area. My dogs have been vaccinated by them for many years. They provide a wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service.
