I don’t know if this store is under new management or what but it looks so much better than it did in the past. It’s less cluttered, things are in place and the staff takes the time to actually walk you to where an item is rather than pointing in some direction and saying it should be over there. I will only shop at this store and if I am not in the area of it, I will wait until I am in that area rather than stopping at any other one. Management…Keep doing what you’re doing because you have taken this store to an all new level! Kudos to you for a job well done! You deserve an award for having the best DG in southern Illinois.

Staff is always extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. Very personable. The staff seems like they actually enjoy their job, not like they are only there because they have to be. Any time my wife or I has asked where something is, or if they have something, they take the time to actually walk to where the item should be, where it could be, and help find it themselves rather than just pointing in a direction and going on about their business. I have been in multiple Dollar General stores, and a majority of the employees are on their phones, or playing obnoxiously loud music from their phones and could care less if a customer needs or asks for help. Not the crew in the Cambria store! They are on top of things and keep the store very tidy and clean. I will go out of my way to go to the Cambria location over three or four other stores local or semi-local to me.

Store was clean and well stocked. Employees were talking amongst themselves about their personal business. No hello, no goodbye, no do you want your receipt, just my total. They ignore me if I say hello 1st. Better then rude I suppose. It's been this way for quite some time now.

WENT IN WENSDAY NIGHT AT 8PM TO PURCHASE ORAL GEL FOR MAJOR TOOTHACHE SALES CLERK SHORT LOOKS HALF BLACK HALF SOMETHING ELSE WITH BLACK HAIR SOLD ME A EMPTY ORAL GEL TUBE FOR 4.50 I ASKED IF SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO GET IT FROM BEHIND COUNTER SHE SAID SHE DIDN TY KNW IF I TOOK IT OUT OR NOT she refused to give me a refund the whole 5 min Deb a ting about it we have the clerk with green hair was doing absolutely nothing but rummaging through Christmas display she even broke ine on my way out the door after a 5 min debate why the item oral gel was empty I tripped over the door mat straining my wrist we ith the same sales clerk telling me not to take the Matt outside when I tripped over it straining my wrist I went to hospital after I got home cause of immense pain with no Tylenol cause spent my last 5 dollars on empty box of oral gel.. I do plan on seeking attorney advice its all on video camera she can't deny it

I was checking out canned goods I was buying to donate and the women checking me out made multiple rude comments to me after apologizing for having so much to check out. Very rude and disrespectful, working the night shift. Have been in multiple times and she has been rude each time. Will NOT be coming back.

The associates were very rude, asked where things were located and associate pointed it should be down there, instead taking me to where it was.Ask another employee for the key to the restroom he said ask someone else and the other employee stated it was at the the front but no one could locate the key just gave the run around cause they didn’t want to stop stocking to get the key at this point I just put my items down and left the store. Poor customer service
