“My favorite 'little' spot! Lovely, sweet people run this place and are just fantastic with answering questions and helping find specific items. Qtiques is a must-stop!”
“I placed an order online, and the bouquet came out beautiful. It looked so fresh and unique. The customer service was wonderful as well. I called to make a few changes to my order, and they were incredibly accommodating. I will absolutely order from them again!”
“The Pink Geranium & Co is my happy place! My mom and I are both big thrifters (treasure hunters) and we are obsessed with the Pink G. Why? Because they price things to move. They have an amazing eye. Their staging is so on point and because their inventory moves quickly, it's like they're re-building their shop every single week. I so appreciate what they do and love going there every week to see the new gems they've found. We've hosted client parties in the shop (we're Realtors) and we often buy gifts here. I can't recommend it enough!”
“I had owned a Hepplewhite chest-on-chest for nigh on 3 decades, and it was past time to restore it. The mahogany veneer was loose at the base, and the corners of the upper chest were quite ugly with the veneer long gone. After only 2 centuries (!), the glue had loosened, internal parts had fallen off and drawers could not be opened. And that wasn't the half of it! So I called Caledonian--one of the best decisions I've ever made. Their knowledge and workmanship are without peer. Not only did Caledonian restore the piece perfectly, but Barrie shared information about the chest-on-chest that I never would have found on my own. These gentlemen are experts; I would not entrust my antiques to anyone else.”
“The first time I stopped in here I decided to look through the old postcards. I found a couple from where my family is in Arizona. When I went to the counter to pay the woman asked if it was my first time in and I said yes. She wouldn’t let me pay for them and told me to take them. It’s rare to encounter people so nice. I really love this shop.”
“This place is such a gem!!! If you live here or are just passing through, you need to check it out! So clean and organized. Lots of fun things!! Steve was so sweet and so knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back!”
“Fun times had by our group of 5 going thru all the different shops. Everyone in our group found good treasure to take back home to Southern,IL. The staff in all the areas were pleasant and helpful !”
“Cute well curated shop that frequently refreshes their offerings. I first found them on the Vintage Shop Hop tour years ago and like to stop by and see what they have when I'm in town. Their holiday items (ALL holidays - Halloween, Valentine's Day, St. Pat's, Easter, etc.) are unique and classy. They've always got a nice assortment of kitchen products, candles, clothing, as well as unique vintage cameras, hardware, and other vintage knickknacks. They have a rewards program, and parking is really easy.”
“Hit up the Railroad store for the first time. Cute location with typical rollercoaster floors, lol. There's 2 floors, well stocked, typical high priced vintage items. Didn't make a purchase this time but I'll definitely return.”
“Excellent assortment of items. Most notable was how clean and dust free it was for an antique shop. No dusty musty old smelly environment. The shop owner was personable and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be going back to purchase more items.”
“A real, true Antique store. Clean and beautifully set up plus the bestest shop dog. If you are seeking beautiful antique furniture this is a must visit shop. I’m more of a doo-dads person and didn’t buy anything but really valued this place.”
“I always find something here! There's a mix of local artist creations, antiques, earrings, household decorations and clothes. There's great sales and wonderful employees!”
“It's a really cool place to find some really awesome stuff if you're a collector for really anything. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They do lil events for kids and all. I really like it there.”
“I was going around to shops looking for someone to take a rather large piece of furniture- and stumbled upon The English Daisy! Though they didn’t take furniture like I had originally hoped, this is an adorable shop. I walked in and got instantly caught up in all the plants. ?The owners were very sweet and their items are creative and mostly made local! Love that!Great shop for gift ideas and with the Holidays around the corner I recommend!”
“Last two poor reviews (from the same person) of Pete are false regarding “Jim” They don’t even make sense. “Zaolin Co” what?! The proof was in the YouTube video. & the dozens of comments below named your tire shop as scammers. Here’s a 5 star honest review of the trading post. Love your store and your YouTube channel Pete and I’m a customer of yours so this review is legit. Cheers.”
“Find that unique item that starts conversations! Multiple vendors in a rambling building that USED to be the Funeral Parlor downtown. It adds that creaky-wood-floor dynamic that keeps ya moving... in a good way. Follow the footprints so you don't miss anything. Vintage clothing, furniture, knick-knacks, old bar equipment, jewelry, and music, as well as some outdoor decor. Some things are priced reasonably, others not-so-much, but it's a fun way to spend an hour with your buddies and find something different.”
“The store had nicely priced items and such a variety of everything you could think of. Wish they had more refinished furniture items but I understand how people bring items in to be refinished. Really a neat place to look around tho.”
