“Unlike some other people, I'm GRATEFUL that your carriers won't just drop stuff at my door and... I guess forge my signature? I dunno - signatures are supposed to be required for everything I send because I'm typically shipping an instrument - flutes, piccolos, and oboes are not cheap, and I certainly wouldn't want one left on my front porch. Thank you for actually obtaining a signature before dropping my irreplaceable, no-longer-made flute on my doorstep like some other carriers.Thank you for ACTUALLY doing your job. Maybe Mrs. Mehta doesn't see it that way, but that's just cause she's wrong. Those other carriers should be obtaining signatures too - they just don't.”

“Great hard-working employees here in MARION, that carry very heavy loads. However, Louis DeJoy has destroyed the USPS Nationwide! The establishment of the USPS is in our US Constitution, however this appointee from 2018 has complicated the processing of all mail to the point where small businesses are being terribly affected. Gone are the days of mail arriving in general terms of 1-2 business days. All local mail is sorted and stamped & rerouted to Evansville, IN, , Louisville, KY., or Nashville, TN. Please tell me in Laymans terms how this is more efficient?? One batch of my small business mail did not reach its destination until over 30 days later. Vendors and creditors expect on time payments, and residents and businesses should be able to have peace of mind about when their mail is picked up regularly on a daily basis by faithful mail men and women just trying to meet the strict deadlines imposed by DeJoy in our town. Our local carriers do a great job. They are hard-working USPS employees. But these new protocols they must follow do not make much sense. It is beyond their control of when where and how those parcels are then to be redistributed, postmarked and turned back around to the same destination they started from. That seems counterproductive to me, it negates common sense.

Big governments goal is to privatize the USPS. Trump wants to have the Oligarchs take over to extract higher prices from the public at large. It is anathema to describe it in any other terms.

A quorum needs to be established by the board specifically to dismiss Mr. DeJoy and remove him from power over the USPS. This is the best solution.

Louis DeJoy has destroyed all rural and sorting machines which would cost taxpayers in the millions to replace.

This destruction was by design, and exemplifies the destructive intent and in my opinion was not a smart business practice.

Change can only come, if we stand up together and speak out against these corrupt political appointees who’s only goal is privatization, therefore increasing what we as citizens will have to pay for the services that have always been rendered for free. Never forget the US postal system is enshrined in our United States Constitution . We should all stand up for our constitutional laws all over this land!”

“This post office is in a desperate need of a renovation, but I'm not going to fault them for that, as it's really beyond their control for how retro and dingy the place looks- almost reminds me of going back to the 70s to early 80s at latest. The parking sucks as there is only one main thru-way, and all the parked cars have to back up into it to get out. It makes for a congested lot. There are a lot of mailboxes of varying sizes to rent, and are accessible all day through a weird and desolate little corridor. The other wing of the post office has a long table where you can wait alongside and prepare your package while you wait to be served. There is usually a long line here, but it moves relatively quickly, with often 2 or 3 workers available to help move things along. If you're waiting to be served but don't need to prepare anything, you can browse thier greeting card and gift card selection, & look at the latest and greatest in shipping products. The whole outdated early 80's feel of the post office extends to the appearance of the workers. We need to give these folks an update on their uniform already! They look so out of date, with dull blues, pleated khakis, thick polos & cardigans. The workers at the Bristol location are very nice. They're quite experienced at what they do, and they never forget to ask if I need more stamps, which is honestly a most wholesome touch. I appreciate they offer a wide variety of services, yet don't push their services too hard on me. Overall, I'm very grateful we have this post office in the center of town like we do. While it could use a slight cosmetic facelift, overall, this post office is so essential! I love having a post office to go to.”
