We are a new and used automotive dealer in Southern Illinois. The Monken family has been in business and in Centralia since 1967. We started as Car City, and was located on Shattuc Road. The name changed to Monken in 1997 when Harold Monken purchased a larger dealership and his son, Wes Monken, joined the team.
