David was the second lender we spoke with regarding a home loan and we were not disappointed! He was great at communicating, open and honest. He worked well with our realtor and together they made the process great for us. He was timely in responding to us and was so helpful with any questions we had. The process was so smooth and he and his team were great!

We reached out to Cory after getting the run around with our original lender (after having an offer accepted on a home and being 30 days out from closing). Cory responded to our first contact within 5 minutes and spend time talking with us about what was going on and how he could help. We really threw a challenge at him, but he worked day in and day out to get us into our new home without having to push back our closing date. He was always so communicative, and we could tell that he genuinely wanted to get us into our new home. We are so thankful for the work that Cory and the Flat Branch team did to get us into our new home quickly....and with a better deal than our original lender option!

He delivered more than he promised at closing. We found, bid, and closed on our home in 5 weeks. No surprises at closing other than the great surprise of the closing costs being less.

Going into a home purchase, especially as a first timer, is always going to be a little intimidating and nerve-wracking. Well...just let that go and contact David Nelson at 217 mortgage. David goes above and beyond to make the process streamlined and easy to handle. He's readily available to answer any question or concern that comes up and is a joy to work with. His team, especially Stephanie Reynolds, is also exceptional. I cannot recommend them enough!!! Excellent experience.

I had an amazing experience working with Tyler. Being a first time homebuyer and doing this alone, he made sure to make it as easy as possible for me. I also work nightshift and he was so good about planning out when to get ahold of me and giving me plenty of heads up of deadlines for things. He answered all of my questions and walked me through everything. It was very minimal stress for me! I couldn’t be more happier with them.

I'm very dissapointed with my experience with this group of people. Justin did a good job at selling me into doing my mortgage with them. He said he would be looking into rates for me every day, but unless I asked, I never received an update. In at least two occasions he said he was going to send me information or call me, but he didn't. I was not very impressed with Angela either.If you are going to be out of office, put an automated "out office response" on your email and phone number! Especially if everyone is going to be out at the same time!!Every time I asked if we were ready to get approved or if we were ready to close, they would ask me to submit some other document. So, what would have happened if I didn't keep asking? Would we have closed?It was more and more stressful the closer it got to the closing date. Until the very last day I had an awful day with my baby waiting for them. I submitted everything as soon as they asked, I kept my word every step of the way.This mortgage was supposed to be an easy one, but this lender managed to make it complicated and a bad experience. I'm sure they could have done something to make it up to me. I waited until after I closed before writing this review, hoping that they would have the initiative to make it up to me somehow, but they failed in that too. I should have given my business to a lender that cares. I was just a number here.I received an apology after telling them I will never do business with them again, but I learned that when you apologize to someone you also find a way to make it up to them as well.God willing, I will continue to buy properties, but I will try to choose better next time.

Jennifer was amazing, she walked me through everything step by step. She answered all my questions and was always available throughout my entire process. Jennifer made herself available even on her birthday for my closing process. She is very professional, personable, and diligent. Her associate Angela was just as helpful and a pleasant person. Justin was delightful and helpful as well the 217 Team helped me make my dream come true!!!!
