I like B.B. Automotive because not only are the prices reasonable, but the mechanic, Brandon Bradley, is somebody I am satisfied I can trust.
I’ve lived in several different places over the years, and I have dealt with only a few auto shops that I could really trust like this. One shop here in Champaign actually tried to cheat me (he’s no longer in business, so there’s no need to name him), and I once had wheel bearings replaced by a large independent shop in another city, and the new bearings wore out again in less than 20,000 miles. On the other hand, there was a shop where I took my car in for a routine tune-up (back when cars still needed tune-ups), and when I picked it up the mechanic said, “I didn’t replace your spark plugs. They didn’t need it.” I was impressed by that level of honesty, and Brandon did practically the same thing for me a couple of times, telling me that I didn’t need something done that I thought I needed. He could have just taken my money, but he didn't.
(I have absolutely no connection to B.B. Auto other than having my servicing done there. I just really like the work he does.)

Such an amazing mechanic/ person. My boyfriend and I were driving from Wisconsin back home to Tennessee and our trucks front tires suddenly locked up and we could barely drive. B.B. Automotive was the closest shop so we stopped by to see if he can take a look. Brandon was kind enough to look at the truck same day and got it fixed as soon as possible due to our situation. He got it all fixed within a few hours and we made our final 7.5hr drive with no problems. He was truly a lifesaver and was beyond kind throughout our experience. I would travel back up there to get all of our mechanical work done by him.

My car had an issue that 2 other mechanics were unable to determine. Brandon is Amazing, he was able to diagnose the issue and repair it. The repair was reasonably priced and I am mobile again thanks to B & B Automotive. I would Highly Recommend to anyone needing a knowledgeable mechanic.
