I just purchased a new Roush F-150 from Todd Barrowman at this dealership. Todd was great to work with. He answered my questions directly without any of the usual sale "tactics" that some dealers use. I live in another state and we did the transaction over phone and email. It was very easy and smooth. Thanks Again!

Service department is the worst. Their communication is couldn't be worse. They had my truck almost 6 months for a warranty issue that the technician (that they let go) caused on a previous visit . Within the first 1000 miles it left me stranded. Also when I got it back wires were left hanging and they put multiple scratches in the paint. I was told it would cost about $170 for a part not under warranty but was charged $2200. CP4 failure within 1000 miles attached is a which was left uncovered all summer, I was told not to worry I was getting a new CP4 but the old one was reinstalled. If you buy something from them you better pray you don't need service they always have a 3 week wait. It must not be a great place to work the staff turnover is pretty high. If you deal with ford city Champaign all I can say is good luck.

I almost never write reviews, especially negative reviews, unfortunately my experiences with Ford City Champaign has caused me to feel the need to warn people and express how dissatisfied with almost every interaction we've had since buying a car from them in June of 2021. The process didn't start out bad or we wouldn't have bought a car in the first place but a year and a half later my partner and I have reached our breaking point and will never buy from them again. Starting out we needed to trade in our previous car. We only got $300 which is the minimum but honestly that's what the car was worth and that was fine. We ended up buying a van for more than we would have liked but the car market had just crashed and we wouldn't have found anything for a better price at the time so that was fine. Honestly the entire sales problem went fairly smoothly and the sales team was very helpful. But this is where anything good ends. After purchasing the vehicle when we went to pick it up there was a rag left in the engine upon our inspection before leaving the dealership lot. This on its own wouldn't be a big deal but looking back it was a red flag toward the incompetence of the dealership. The first 3 months we had no other issues with our vehicle. Until we were leaving Curtis Orchard one day and our power steering went out completely and dramatically. We were barely able to make it back to the house. Then thinking this was a minor leak, since we had just bought the car and supposedly had it inspected before leaving the lot we bought some steering fluid, poured it in to try and see where the leak was at which point the entire power steering system exploded. When trying to get an appointment with the Ford dealership we were told it was a 3 month wait but we could go to any other dealership to get it looked at and it would still be covered under warranty. We made an appointment at Dodge-Chrysler across the way. They got us in within 3 days and were friendly and very helpful but when they called Ford to ask about our warranty they were told we didn't have one at which point I had to play phone tag between the two places to figure out the issue. We had one Ford just didn't look up the warranty correctly. Finally we got the car back and it was driving mostly fine. A couple months later we noticed a slight tilt to the steering wheel but it was still driving fine and having no other issues so we made an appointment with the Ford dealership service department. The appointment was a month out but it was drivable and safe so we waited this time to get in. Day of the appointment we head to the service department only to be told we don't have one. The gentleman we talked to was very rude and unhelpful. Thankfully one of his coworkers was listening in and realized they had just spelt the name wrong when we made the appointment. A few hours later they call us telling us the issue with the steering is some screws weren't tightened properly and they're going to charge us $200 for maintenance because they aren't the ones who fixed the steering a few months back. Dodge however was very helpful and apologized for not fixing it properly, fixed it and even did some extra work for us for free. We as of now haven't had any more issues with the car but last week we got some mail from Reynold's towing company saying that our car was towed because it hadn't been moved in 72 hours. Apparently the car we traded in a year and a half ago was still registered in my partner's name and I have had to call Reynold's, Champaign Public Works, Secretary of State's office and Ford City Champaign in order to prove we no longer own this vehicle and aren't responsible for any Tows or Tickets. I am still trying to find out why this car is still registered to us and why they even resold it because we were told it was going to be junked. We have been made to waste too much time and stress on the mistakes of Ford City Champaign. I hope by writing this I can prevent anyone else from f

To say the service is a joke insults jokes. Wow!! Set up an appointment for routine oil change service. I asked how long service would take and they said 60-75 minutes. I show up at 1:45 and asked again how long it would take and received the same answer. So I grab a seat in the lobby and wait. 2 hours and 15 minutes go by and I ask for an update. Service advisor said my truck was in the back. So I asked how long it was back there, his response was they just pulled it in. So at this point the service advisor told me that they was short 1 person on the lube rack...... so customer service 101 would say to tell the customers that there may be a delay as opposed to what took place today. Do I mind that it would have taken 3 hours?? Not at all, I would have brought my laptop there and works instead of sitting there wasting my day away. Super glad I have them another shot after they fkd me on a new truck purchase 23 years ago. Lesson learned is even though this dealership changed hands it's still a lemonade stand.

I tried to call the Champaign Ford City service department several times to bring my car in for a powertrain recall and inspection. No one answer the phone and it went to voice mail. I left messages and did not get a callback. My car broke down, engine light, and wrench light came on. I called Champaign Ford dealer, no answer. I drove to the dealer. After several heated verbal exchanges, they agreed to fix my car. I towed the car to the dealer.I asked to make sure my car was checked and fixed. They took less than an hour and I was told my car was fixed. Four days later, I was driving on the freeway. The engine light and the wrench light came back on again.I had to pull over, turn off the engine, and wait a few minutes. I started the car and I was able to drive it to a safe location.I took my car to Monticello Ford since I do not trust Champaign Ford. They found a gear sensor malfunction. Why did Champaign Ford return my car without checking it first when I had requested to make sure my car was completely fixed? I will not do any business at Champaign Ford ever again.

Our experience was GREAT. Bill Green went above and beyond to help us find the vehicle that was just right for us! The service department was also wonderful, as always!

Dale was very kind and courteous of my request, and supremely understanding. Thank you so much for your professionalism, and the willingness to help others in need!If my interaction is an indication of how they treat others, I'd recommend buying a vehicle from these folks a thousand times over!

I hate that I feel the need to change my review but after having my car serviced last week, the experience still doesn't sit right with me. I originally scheduled my appointment to have my airbags replaced in my Lincoln since they were recalled. I could have chosen my local ford dealer but I have always enjoyed this specific dealership and have always received great service so I made the drive from Danville to drop it off. Scheduling the appointment and dropping off was easy. I also added on an oil change instead of having my husband do it this time around. The service members I specifically talked to on the phone and in person were fast and kind (especially for a busy Friday morning). The crew worked quickly to have my car finished by the end of the day for me to pick up the next morning. When I came the next morning, I witnessed an older gentleman (possibly manager?) being awfully rude to a couple dropping off a loaner. He then helped me and again acted as if I was a bother for picking up my car. But, I can get over someone with rude tendencies, maybe he was having a bad day. So I pay for my $50 oil change (my fluid weren't topped off and I didn't receive my car report), get my keys and leave. As I'm driving, I notice my fabric interior on each side of the windshield is DIRTY. As in dirty fingerprints/handprints.Maybe it's just me but I kindly expect to have my car returned to me in the condition I gave it in. So I called on Monday morning to let them know as a heads up and ask if there were recommendations on what to do for it since we are looking to trade this car in and whoever talked to me, again acted as if it was an annoyance (they did offer to "wipe it off" if I brought it in).So as a tldr; I can look past short/rude service and I can look past not receiving a complete service that I asked for but you never know who is looking to buy a car in the near future. I know my review doesn't matter in the masses of people Ford City serves but, I hope this will at least reach the correct person.Original Review:I recently had work on my Ford Five Hundred (2005) and felt very well taken care of. I brought my car in after hearing some weird noises and they were able to distinguish the problem with me only waiting about 45 minutes to an hour. One of the service men (can't remember name) sat down with me and went over what they found and we scheduled an appointment. I dropped my car off on the appointment day, used the complimentary shuttle to get to class, and not even two hours later they called to let me know it was finished. Did they charge me more than a local garage would have? Probably, but they also have certified mechanics that work quick and resolve the problem. As a female college student, I felt respected and very well taken care of. As long as I live in Champaign, I will likely use Ford City.

Worst dealer in all the USA. Nothing good to say, no help, rude, nasty, so bad I am trying to get Ford to remove there ability to sell Ford's. These people are what's wrong with the world. They so awful don't break down and need a tow there, no one in 100 miles will tow you there. They cuss at customers, and throw keys at you. I'd buy any other car just to avoid. Zero stars

I am a long-time customer with Ford City and Worden-Martin. They always take good care of me whether it be in purchasing a new car or in servicing my vehicle. They offer fair prices and excellent service.

Highly recommend going to Champaign Ford City! They gave a fair price on my trade in and were able to get me into a used car that had everything I wanted within my price range. David in sales was attentive and helped find the right car for me and my family. First class experience.
