Drove an hour to check out the store - the store is pretty great, lots of things I could only possibly get at that store without going MUCH further away.
I cannot adequately describe how impressed I was with the staff - particularly Dez. Such a young guy and SO so knowledgeable.
CANNOT wait to go back, even if it's only to talk to Dez.

Such a wealth of woodworking knowledge and supplies!! I was totally impressed with CU Woodshop Supply !!! I found everything I was searching for and more. It was worth my 4 hour drive. They not only sell the tools and supplies, but use them to make beautiful products which I was able to tour!! This is a true treasure to have in the Mid-west!

Drive over an hour. Shopped at their store for years. Not often but for the big things. Was looking to upgrade a drum sander and lathe. Staff couldn’t be bothered to say hello let alone ask if they could assist me. After 15-20 minutes I left. I don’t really like to make big purchases online not many options. How would service be if a problem when they won’t even talk for a purchase. Maybe I misread the sign and at this 3rd (that I’ve been to) location it was fu Woodshop

I highly recommend CU Woodshop. They did an excellent rejoining an antique table that had suffered severe water damage. They consulted us on exactly what we wanted and did a fantastic job very quickly. I would call them first for any wood project needing a professional hand.

Stumbled across this place a few weeks ago and glad I did. Was wanting to make an inlay project and the staff was very knowledgeable and Super helpful with any and all questions I had. Helped me pick out some pieces of wood, and they'll cut any board down to any size you want, all the way down to just an inch. They'll even plane it down if you want. They also carry the higher quality wood working tools and a bunch cool 'toys' to look at and drool over. Glad I found this place and will definitely be back when I start my next wood project!

I stumbled upon this establishment while searching for a specific hinge. It's hidden away, not visible from a main road. The shop is quite large and seems to offer a wide range of woodworking tools and supplies for various projects. The staff, including McKenna the little dog, were extremely welcoming. The individual who assisted me dedicated 15 minutes to determining the exact hinge I required. The service was truly outstanding.

Always a pleasant experience with outstanding customer service. Super helpful staff that is more than willing to assist you in finding what you need and making recommendations. They also carry some great product lines that you can't find anywhere else locally.

I drove from Springfield to Champaign just to find a product that they carry. Once at the store, I was treated like their best customer! They answered all my questions, and even took me into the shop to let me see an active example! This was not a huge purchase, but they now have a customer for all my woodworking needs.
