I will never be returning to this location. Over the past year there have been numerous new game releases where the store isn’t open during normal hours. My most recent experience the store was supposed to open an hour late due to weather which is fine but the employee did not open the store until 1130 and was extremely rude to customers that were waiting for it to open. There’s many other stores in town that sell new games or used games that are much better, I’d absolutely recommend never going to this location.

They did refund my money. At least I hope they did. I have a receipt. My God what went wrong? Did I get like some sort of recycled piece of dropped Xbox or what?

Pretty sad. My son seems to have bought a game that was all case, no game inside. Staff unhelpful. I suppose because of checkout behavior that seemed shady — looks like they take the membership points to a bogus account if you don’t want to give an email address, so they plead they can’t locate a record of the sale if you lost the receipt. Of course they course they know — they must know the bogus accounts where they logged the sale. So if you must trade there check your stuff before you leave. There’s no point in coming back later.

I have never been blown away by the game prices but at least they devote themselves to the gamer and geek culture.

It's never open anymore. Door are locked no lights for days at a time. Always closed, never says it's closed online either.

Employee was polite and patient. Store was clean and organized.Store was also understaffed and under stocked. I ordered online instead, and it took 2 days for my order to be shipped. Must be understaffed there too.It's important to have this store. I hope corporate can get their stuff together and invest in front facing services instead of milking the last bit of profit for themselves. We've all seen that death spiral play out elsewhere - but right now it's gamestop.

Over the span of more than a decade, plenty of the staff come and go, but no matter who's currently working there, I've always had a good customer experience here. I've even made a few friends, too! Sometimes I wish they had a higher games to merch ratio, though. I know just because I'm not into the merch, doesn't mean there isn't a place for it, I'd just rather more of the store space be taken up by games

Store has been not opening and even closing earlier than it should. I understand they might be short staff or whatever but they should post hours they know they will be open to prevent people from having to come far. Gas is not cheap and time is definitely being wasted!

The store was clean and organized. The staff were nice and attentive even though he was the only employee working. He did a great job and had a good attitude.

I drove down from Rantoul today to get some gifts for family members. The store was supposed to open at 12pm at 12:25 still locked up no sign of life. Sunday hours are supposed to be 12 to 7 so what is the problem ?

Fast service. Good deals. Fun atmosphere. Staff greeted me as soon as I came in and asked if I needed help. Good discounts with the points program.

I used to go into gamestop 3-4 times a week. Times sure have changed. I haven't actively gone there because of how bad gamestop truely became. Today was my last straw. I trade in a ps5 controller and 2 Nintendo switch controller and I get 55 dollars instore credit... I remember you used to get over 100 instore credit for 3 controllers. What a joke gamestop has become.

Typical BS Gamestop sales gimmick. I stopped regularly shopping at Gamestop about 4 years ago because I got tired of the pushy sales staff all of the time. In the last 12 months we've had 3 total purchases, all for around <$125 total. Today my significant other goes in the store and makes a purchase with our son and gets conned into renewing my pro membership because the sales staff lied and told her that last year I saved over $200 with my pro membership.... The purchases made totaling approx $125 were not on sale and were pokemon cards, gift cards and 1 new game at full price.Sad to see them lie to rope her into a renewal. Luckily I was able to cancel the auto renewal they graciously setup on the pro membership.
