Very bad customer service and order handling. I ordered the gratitude stole along with a cap and gown. However I didn't receive it in my order. Tassel was also missing. When I called the customer service, they apologized and said they will ship it ASAP with an ETA of 10 days but I didn't receive the tassel and the stole. When I talked to the person at the booth during the returns, they didn't even care to listen. Please be careful while ordering any additional items apart from the cap and gown. Looks like they don't read the feedback and try to improve.The way they manage the returns is also not good. If you return it in the booth, you just have to write the name and phone number in a book that is unattended. If possible use the Fedex returns, so that you have proof of shipping it back.

One star is too much. Patty Storie should not be running all of the University graduations in Central Illinois. I purchased a Graduation robe YEARS ago, my sister is now graduating so she decided to use my robe that i paid full price for. She accuses my sister of lying, takes a picture of her ID threatens to bill her for a gown that is ALREADY PAID FOR!!! I spoke with her verbally on the phone, she was extremely snarky adamant that the robe was implicating “stolen” or unreturned. She stated she needed proof of purchase before my sibling could even use it… Herff Jones is unorganized and they do not keep up with unreturned rentals so essentially all rentals that aren’t returned.. they don’t follow up on. There is no way to verify proof of purchase when the receipt was emailed to my university’s email address that no longer exists BECAUSE IM A GRADUATE !! Wildly unprofessional and blatantly prejudice, she physically put her hands on my sibling. We are looking forward to filing more complaints, and pressing charges.

They forgot to include my stole and never responded when I called/emailed/etc. I ended up ordering the “stole of gratitude” separately because it appears to be the same as the stoles we are supposed to receive and I wanted to actually be able to wear a stole for graduation. Kind of ridiculous I’m paying for their mistake.

I wish i had read these reviews before renting a gown from this company. The absolute worst customer service. Never sent my hood. Never responds to emails. If you have another option of places to rent your gown, do that instead.

WARNING GRADUATES! Honestly, screw this company!! i wish i looked into different options before ordering. It took them over two weeks to ship me my rental gown package (including a $15 shipping fee…) when the company is local, like 10-20 minutes away and it should have taken a few days max…Then! Nothing fit!! I am 5’8 and 120 lb and they sent me a gown that 6’2 300 lb man could wear, it looks so d**** I called them and they told they only provide large and extra large gowns! This lady literally told me that they don’t even have small or medium sized gowns at all! I called the university and they told me the customer service rep didn’t know what she was talking about, classic! AVOID AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU!!

The customer service really sucks. I have problems with the package I received. Although I paid for the returning shipment fee, the returning shipment sticker was not included in the package. I filled out the online customer service form twice and the company never contacted me back. I also tried to call multiple times but I could never reach them. I wish I could just rate a 0.

The only choice we have for graduating is getting scammed out of $90 to RENT a gown?Also, their data was breached and I lost another $100 that is currently being disputedJust see if you can borrow a gown from a friend before using their "service"
