Tori is an amazing hairdresser and I trust her hands! I hadn’t seen her in a year, but she quickly picked up my thoughts and executed a classy cute cut! Julie is a very kind receptionist and is great at keeping up with guests and staff. She’s a doll to converse with as well. The hairdressers are funky and fun and the salon is full of laughs. The salon is also highly ethical in their products and the owner has done a beautiful job at integrating design and life into the space.

I have taken the same pictures to every haircut I’ve gotten in the last 5 years and this was the first time I actually got the style I wanted. Delsie did an incredible job and I cannot express how happy I am with the result and how much it’s boosted my confidence. Best haircut I’ve ever gotten!

I debated on writing a review since I am the type to let things go easily, but this place really had me feel uneasy. I called a couple of days ago as a new customer since all of the reviews are good I just was in need of a trim and blowout so they scheduled me for today. I was unable to make the appointment and called to canceled (8 hours before), the lady who answered was extremely rude while speaking to me, with the intentions of me rescheduling she said that there were “consequences for canceling without 24hrs notice” understandable, but the tone was speaking to me as I was a child and making me feel guilty, almost speaking to me hostile. As a new customer who has never been here before I was never aware of these “consequences” which I still don’t know what she was referring to and will definitely not be using this place.

Fantastic service, great atmosphere, I have never once been let down by Mackenzie or Tori! They know their way around curls and have always given me exactly what I want from only a few reference photos. The satisfaction is well worth the price.
Requested style: Recently, I requested a chin-length layered cut with bangs.
Hair type: My hair type is loosely curly.
Stylist: My most recent stylist was Tori, who did amazingly with the cut and color, and offered great advice for hair care! In the past, I have had Mackenzie, who has been just as amazing!

I'm a 52 year old autistic Blasian man. I'm always nervous about a new salon/stylist/barber. I have a lot of sensory issues and the scents and sounds can be overwhelming; products used on your hair can feel sticky/oily/greasy/slimy as well as having an overpowering scent; and many barbers/stylists either don't know how to deal with multiracial hair or they don't listen to what I want done and instead do what they think should be done.
As I said, I was very nervous and had a bit of anxiety about my visit this morning.
I'm so relieved to say that the salon, and Delsey specifically, were incredible! I was not overwhelmed by blaring music and a cacophony of voices. I wasn't overwhelmed by a million overlapping scents. It was a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with music at a reasonable level.
And Delsey listened to my concerns and wishes. They asked if something was okay before doing it. And I left feeling heard and cared for.
I left feeling betterer than when I walked in, and my hairs looked fantastic and just how I wanted.
I cannot say enough positive things about Delsey and the salon. Thank you!

In my short time in Champaign, IL, Tori was my Hair Stylist! She is the best! Super kind and does wonderful curly cuts on my curly hair! She did an amazing balayage as well! I am so sad to have to find another hair dresser in moving away because nobody will replace her!!! I definitely recommend Tori at Ippatsu Salon!

My stylist was Delsie, they did an amazing job! I have wavy hair and I wanted to enhance the texture of my hair and add layers, and I am really happy with the cut I got :) Its difficult finding a stylist who knows how to work with textured hair, and so if you're also looking for one I recommend them

If you haven’t tried a facial with Tristan, you must. It is so relaxing and she will personalize it to meet your needs. I’ve done it multiple times and also gifted it to my 21 year old granddaughter. .

Ippatsu is amazing! The aesthetic is inviting and fun. Tori always makes me happy with color and style for my hair. She takes her time to make sure you get the look you want. Tristan is my absolute go to for eyebrow waxing and tinting. Her facials are truly rejuvenating and make my skin look and feel beautiful. The skin care line Tristan uses is wonderful and I now buy consistently. I highly recommend Ippatsu for all your salon and spa needs!

I love Tristins energy while she makes my face feels like silk during our facial sessions. The almost painless sugaring(instead of waxing) session for my armpits, legs, and face doesn’t hurt either!!!! Thank you!

I’ve been getting my hair done here for a long time and I will not go anywhere else. I got a facial for the first time and I have never felt better. I came in with a tension headache and it was completely gone afterwards. I could not recommend it enough?
