I was traveling and needed some arrowroot powder so I stepped into his store that just will happen to be on my route. I did not find what I was looking for, but I settle for a substitute which was tapioca starch powder. It was only a hour and change when I went to go check out, the women behind the register, insisted that I had to spend a minimum of $10 in order to do my debit card I didn’t need anything else and so I was forced to leave the store empty-handed because I didn’t have a need to spend $10 or more. What an inconvenience everyone doesn’t carry cash or points. The owner should be considerate, insisting that I spend a minimum of $10 when I really shouldn’t have to is behind me. Keep that in mind if you ever decide to visit this establishment.

The best Filipino grocery store in central IL! They receive bakery items weekly. Fresh pan de sal, pan de ube, pan de coco, ensaymada and more!

One star off for the price; the items are pricey.Another star off for the hours. As a person with an 8-5 job it is challenging to get my Filipino food fix from them.Aside from that everything is great. Very clean and well arranged shelves. There is a wide variety of ingredients for Filipino food.
