I found my 30"x24" custom frame (no matt) online. I already have the print I wish to frame so I checked the "bring own print into store" button. Online I was quoted a price of $109.00. When I got to the store, I was told that this exact framing job would actually be $235.00. More than 2x the price? And it's more than the pre-framed offer by the print maker. I walked out and won't be coming back to Aaron Brothers in Michael's.

Went in and ask the cashier how many transactions can I make to use a coupon and the cashier asked her manager, the manager Sarah replied over the walkie talkie 2. I had friend with me who wanted to do the same and the cashier was nervous to do it again because we came in together so she called the manager to the front. Sarah the manager took one look at us ( we are African American) and then stated that we can only do 1 transaction, I stated that at first she said 2 she then bulged her eyes and stated it's at their "Discretion" and walked away! That will be the last time that I spend money at that location and I will make a phone call in regards to this kind of behavior. We made the purchases at 3:17 p.m on 3/7/20.

Checked website looking for a knitting class. Did not give me info I wanted. Called the store. After being on hold a long time, employee told me to check website. Told her I did, but still had questions. Reply:"ok. Have a good day." ??????????

I didn't think about writing a review until now. It's probably the third time i've been in the store. Today is a prime example: I asked for help finding something and was told it's only in one spot in the store, 10 min later I found it in another spot. I asked for help finding something, I had to go to the register to ask for help. Staff told me it's in X isle, couldn't find it had to ask for help and the staff was rude. I don't understand why it's so difficult to get help. Also if you hate working here, find a new job and find happiness in whatever you do. I rather eat glitter then shop here ever again.

I was able to find most the items I needed here at Michaels. They has a good selection on craft items. Down side their fabric/sewing section is just the bare minimums. You can get a bigger variety at Walmart. I ended up going to Jo-Anns to get what I needed (spray fabric starch - Michaels only have liquid) They do have a great selection on paints, frames, floral items, and more. Those were just some of the things I was in there for.

This is a review of their birthday parties. My 6-year-old daughter is an arts and crafts enthusiast, so we thought what better place to have her birthday party. I was told there would be a Michael's staff member to run the Arts and Crafts portion of the party and also paid an extra fee for face painting. About 5 minutes to start time an employee walked in looking baffled. I asked if she does many of these parties and she said "I never have and just found out I'm doing this one." She then sat down reading the instructions until about 15 minutes past party time...when I said can we get started? She pretty much just sat there while another mother and I tried to figure out the crafts and pulling supplies ourselves from the cabinets. This was supposed to be a "Princess" craft party. She then told me "uh, we were supposed to have pink paint for the crafts, but I guess were out." I went ahead and started mixing red and white for the girls...but really????!! you have aisles of paint here. Then I asked when the face painting would start. Of course she says, "I wasn't told anything about face painting." I informed her that we paid extra for this. Her manager was quick to refund this, but we wanted the party and services we were promised and had put on our invitations. When I did call to talk to the manager to complain. The manager did not apologize and simply blamed her employees. Michael's desperately needs to train their employees or not offer the birthday party service. Please do not disappoint yourself or your child with a birthday party at Michael's.

Horrible customer service! I love the product at Michaels but the last 2 times I have been in I have had such unpleasant employee interactions. There are never employees on the sales floor to help me and the cashiers have such bad attitudes it makes me not want to come back. Most recently the cashier was irritated when I had a coupon from my email on my phone (which stated I could have it scanned from my phone in store). She made it very clear she was irritated because it wouldn't scan and even tried telling me it wasn't valid when it clearly was. And eventually the couple scammed. If I didn't need the items I was there to buy for my wedding, I would have said nevermind! I hoped coming in this last time it would be better than the experience before but I was mistaken. If you can get what you need at hobby lobby, go there. Much better customer service!

First off, I am not the type to shop in an arts & crafts store. You would find me more often in a book store looking for uncle john bathroom reader books than looking through scrapbooking materials. But its almost Christmas and my wife likes stuff you would find from a store like this. So I walk into this store and have to look at the aisle signs to figure out where the item I am looking for could be. Did not see any employees roaming the aisle to help me since I am basically a newbie to a place like this. The only other time I have been in this store was back in 2012 looking for a shadowbox. Luckily the item I was looking for was in the first aisle and after a short wait, I got checked out. The cashier was friendly and asked if I found everything I was looking for. Sadly, she was the only employee I talked to in the 10 minutes I was there. I have read the other reviews on Yelp about this store and I must agree with the comments about the selection in this store not being the greatest. They only had two different choices of the item I was looking for and the only reason I bought my item is that I had a 50% off coupon, If I did not have that coupon, I probably would have tried Hobby Lobby. Pros: 50 % coupon off Cons: No assistance & limited selection

Ok selection for crafts and their coupons are terrible! They have too much junk and not enough quality art items. Please stop selling all the hokey seasonal items these are decorations not crafts or arts. Oh and I forgot to mention the dollar section! OMG!! Leave that for the dollar store I don't like it!

I shop here much more than I should, but I can't resist these kind of stores and I'm big into crafts. They have a pretty good selection and reasonable sales. Good bead selection and decent flower selection The problems I have are: poor selection of yarns (low quality, not very upscale) and the fact that they will only let you use one coupon per visit (why have pages of coupons when you can only use one? Also, you can't use it on books, magazines and other "select" products.) Also, some of the employees have a bit of a slack attitude. Some are very nice but others aren't very friendly or helpful and are rather half-assed. Still, though, I have fun shopping here. I love the $1 selection of stationary and blank books.

I had a poster framed there, since it had a weird shape and a standard frame would not have worked. I picked Michaels hoping that it would be a little cheaper than going to a real framer, but it wasn't particularly cheap at all: I ended up paying over $100 for a very standard metal frame and the cheapest kind of glass. They did the job right, but it took two weeks, and their staff was not particularly helpful. Now about the store: it's really more about crafts than about arts... Their art supplies selection is actually quite tiny and disappointing, and I'd probably look somewhere else if I were looking for some serious supplies. 2-1/2 stars.

I really love the selection that this store has. I had to wait in line for quite awhile and there didnt seem to be alot of personnel available to answer questions. I'd recommend Hobby Lobby if you are looking for a place that will be quick service.
