The grooming here was wonderful, especially with Kelly. She was so patient and kind to my dog and also detailed with every part of the grooming. My dog initially did not like grooming at all, but after going here she seems so much calmer with the grooming process. The pricing is also very much reasonable, way cheaper than Petsmart.

DO NOT take your pet to Petsuppliesplus in Champaign for grooming. My parents took our family dog there, and it was terrible. She came home with a bald spot on her shoulder. When I saw her after work, it was still red and sore from where her fur was pulled out. The person grooming didn't even bother to call my dad when he was done. After 3 hours, my dad went back and our dog was locked in a crate waiting to be picked up. This person should not be grooming animals. Beyond unacceptable!

Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Great amount of choices... even "better brands" not found at bigger chains. Store was clean and organized.

Love the call ahead and pick up service. They do a great job. I would like to see a delivery service added, but now that spring has sprung, it's ok.

I was told that this pet store had everything I needed and had a good selection of reptiles. The store is pretty good size but I was disappointed with the reptile selection. It felt like I was in one of the chain pet stores, very impersonal. I was told the employees are very knowledgeable but I can't say if that's true or not since no one offer to help. I'll stick to going to Sailfin.

The service is friendly and attentive. The knowledge was a little lacking in the fish department and the fish and/or plant I bought we're carrying ich which killed all my son's fish. I don't recommend buying fish here, but in my opinion it's otherwise a good store.

PSP is my favorite place to shop for my pets! They always have what I need, and everything is reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I prefer shopping here over Petsmart because they care about their animals more than the money they bring in. I have never questioned their care or treatment with the pets that they have for sale. I 100% recommended this store to anyone with pets!

I purchased a Kong toy which was supposedly indestructible for my 9 month old puppy. Within two minutes of him chewing it, the toy began breaking into tiny pieces. Upon my attempt to return this toy, I was told that because they can't resell it, they can't accept it as a return. I understand they don't manufacture the toy but if you can't stand behind something you sell, you shouldn't be selling it. I would have been happy with a store credit but was told there is "nothing they can do". I would expect more from a store that I frequent but they will no longer be receiving my business. I will be calling the corporate office to further express my frustration.

I love this pet store! It is the only store in town that I'm aware of that carries a specific cat food recipe (Wellness 95). They have a huge selection of cat food, both wet and dry, a decent selection of rabbit food and supplies, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I hate going to PetSmart and drive out of my way to go to Pet Supplies Plus, even though I drive by three other pet stores in town. The store is always clean, organized, and well stocked.

It's a solid pet store. Would def go here over Petsmart, thought the store is a little overpriced. They got some nice gourmet dog cookies, and the staff is pretty friendly. Got this nice backpack today for the pooch, and he know he stylin.

Grooming was terrible. My dog's fur changed after she went there from smooth, dark and wavy to faded, coarse, and springy. When confronted, the groomer was very rude and yelled at me for not properly training my dog, not sure what I did wrong but the vet told me that the groomer mishandled shampooing and damaged her fur. Her eye was also red from soap getting in her eye, also something I asked him about and he lied saying "She was like that when she came in", well she wasn't. I learned later that they have continued mistreating dogs in the grooming and have heard far worse stories than my own. The store is fine, not the biggest, prices are about the same when you have membership at both. But the grooming was terrible and it is not worth the few bucks you would save, now take my dog to a professional grooming location and they never have issues with her, her fur is starting to get better (after a year and a half), and she never comes home with red eyes. I am a business person myself, and this business has terrible customer service that attacks the client and never answers for their actions.

Such an amazing pets store and a really kind and helpful staff. One of the managers today took the time to really inform me about the different brands of dog food and the effects it could have on my dog (positive and negative). I really appreciated her help and I feel I know so much more about what I'm feeding my dog.

Very helpful and had just what I needed. I was looking for a double harness for mobility assistance for my large dog. I live 45 minutes away and called to find out if they had anything. The person who helped me found a product and provided the measurements to ensure it would work and then stored it at the counter for me to pick up. Once there, there were plenty of helpful workers who offered to assist me as I looked around the store. Great experience on an emotional day due to my dog's health.

I posted a very negative review of this business recently, regarding an experience I had in their store with a third-party business who was offering pictures of your pet with Santa for Xmas. I owe all parties concerned a very huge apology-I believed I had been ripped off and disappointed in the situation, and it turned out that neither was actually the case-there were some issues that led to an untoward and unforeseen delay, and when nobody was able to provide anything but an email address-no phone, no physical address-and I'm talking to several other people, all of whom had the identical experience I did-I can't say it was unreasonable to come to the conclusions that I did, but it turned out, not only was I flat wrong, these very nice people were extremely patient and kind in trying to help sort this out, when they didn't have to be because there was nothing really in it for them to help me. About the third party-they are a brand-new rescue, which is a cause SO close to my heart, as I do a heck of a lot of rescuing myself and support anyone's efforts to help animals. I would actually like to address the situation with the third party, and I don't have any other place to do it-one thing that jumped out at me instantly was how VERY gentle, kind, and good they were on handling four shy little rescue dogs with different temperaments. I would actually say - I told everyone I talked to at the time and actually talked others into taking their pets there-how very impressed I was by their insight, kindness, and sensitivity. As an animal person, I could tell they were genuine in the way they handled my little dogs, and they got the best shots I've ever had taken because they are just good at handling animals, their love and care showed. That was part of what completely blew my mind in the situation-I knew they couldn't have faked that-and yet, I had no contact info, got no apparent response to my email inquiries, and I really didn't know what else it could have been but a soft con. I'm sincerely glad that I was completely wrong, and I not only wish them all the best, I will be sending them a donation in excess of the $10 I provided for the pictures, which I did finally get after they corrected whatever malfunction that had led to the delay. I am SO sorry, and, again, I've never been so glad to be so wrong-and when I'm wrong, I own that.

Really like the staff & products at this store. Used the dog grooming services (bath time!) and was quite pleased.
