It’s the details. I like Tire Barn because it’s open on the weekends, unlike another shop I use in town. I had purchased a set of tires last year from them. Unfortunately, I got a hole in the sidewall, 🛞 and it was not repairable. But they replaced it for me. Also added on an oil change, no problem, it was due. But the car is AWD, and they didn’t rotate tires. (I didn’t ask them to do so.) As I arrived home I realized they put my spare in the back, and not under the car (mounted.) And they did not give me a “next oil change due” sticker. And my check tire light is on. It’s the details. I wish people would Think to themselves, “Is this how I should take care of the customer?” But I guess that is too much to ask these days. Oh well, three stars: Average service.

Went in for a tire repair came home with a bigger leak than when car went in. Tire and rim both damaged. I was told that my daughter must have done the damage. Don’t believe that was the case. Honestly believe that the manager of the Champaign store was covering for the employee that actually made the mistake. I was told that it should never have been repaired. I was never showed the damage while at the store. A poor attempt was made at covering it up and we were sent on our way. Will never visit Tire Barn again and advise others to be cautious.

Go anywhere else. Seriously.
I got 4 tires earlier this year, it took 3 hours to complete this service. Less than a week later one of the tires they installed was faulty, luckily I bought the insurance so they put a new one on. After another 2 hours they tried to get me to pay for the service even though they are guaranteed under their policy.
Now about a month ago I went to take my tire off to do some suspension work. The technician had hammered my lug nuts on so hard that they are completely stripped and literally crumbling off. Now i need to replace my lug nuts and wheel hubs. If I had driving when they decided to break a tire could have flew off, I could have died, or killed someone due to their laziness. Its pure incompetence not to torque lug nuts to spec. Especially for a tire shop that does this hundreds of times per day.
I reached out to corporate a month ago with this information and still have not received any acknowledgement whatsoever, so I guess it is time to start talking about this publicly.

Great service, including dealing with difficult issues (had to remove wheel locks for which we didn't have keys). Highly recommend this location.

Came here in search of tires after I had a blowout on one of mine, and after Walmart gave me the runaround on trying to get the tires I was after. Tire Barn's folks figured out quickly which tires would work for my car, and got me in the next morning to get the changeout taken care of.
It took them more time than they'd planned (I'm told it took them more than two hours to get this blown-out tire off the rim!), but by golly, they kept at it, and they got it done. They took good care of everything in the process, and they didn't try to upcharge me on a whole bunch of services I didn't need. It was a little bit more expensive than, say, Walmart, but for peace of mind, and knowing that they'll take good care of you, I'd say the extra money was well worth it. Glad to have another mechanic I can trust in town!

Great service!! Took a bit for them to change all 4 tires not realizing they were doing an alignment, when they realized I didn’t approve it was comped. Would have gladly paid but definitely appreciated. Also when was brought paperwork was also informed about my valve stem covers that I thought were cute could corrode, they replaced them with new and also kept them green which was a cherry on top. 10/10. Thank you.

I needed new tires in a hurry, and they fit me in late on a Saturday. They explained the process and options clearly and completed the work quickly. I'm very grateful.

The work was impeccable as always but I noticed the guys were extremely short only 2 of them working one one kept having to stop and man the front desk causing everyone to have longer wait times. I have never seen tire barn staffed like this. That was not good but as for the guys they did the best with what they had. I thought it was sad that they were left in such shape as far as staffing. Other than that I have nothing negative to say about the workers. Once my car got back there the work (I have replacement of right tpms) was completed in a reasonable amount of time.

Stopped in late afternoon and had a nail close to the sidewall so tire was not patchable, tires had about 35k on them anyway, they still got me in and put 4 new tires on the truck before dinner time.

Great service!
Tire barn had the exact tire I needed for several hundred less than the dealership wanted to charge me. The dealership set my appointment, kept me waiting four hours only to try and pressure me to buy the same tire “warrantied” for $467.
Tire Barn had what I needed in stock, got me in immediately, finished in 10 minutes with no nonsense.
This is one thankful gramma!
