I was lucky to have this post office as my neighborhood branch for a decade when I lived in downtown Champaign. I can say confidently that although USPS has its issues, this location is one of the best after visiting many different post offices across Illinois. Special shout out to Vernessa, who consistently provided kind and competent service to me and everyone who came through the doors. It is rare to encounter someone so patient and sweet in a high stress customer service role, and I very much appreciate her kindness over the years :) I sent over 200 packages from this post office over many years and experienced an issue with one or two of them only (i.e. <1%).

Nobody responds to calls, people are working at the front desk and I had called and they just ignore the phone, don’t even bother calling them, they will not answer or pick up.

The front desk is Not hepful at all and the employees have no care for your needs and concerns. They lost a very expensive package that was for me and put forth no effort to find it. Total incompetence and apathy.

Had my packages shipped twice from this location. Both times the workers were generally friendly and quite helpful considering I was pretty clueless about using the post office. Only bad part was they tried to upsell me to the priority mail which was like 3 times the price, but they weren't very pushy about it.

The post master needs an education on conditional rights, how yo talk to customers and how to train his employees. Horrible man.

Despite what the horrible negative reviews say, this place is terrible. Couldn't mail my daughter his birthday present so she has to download it off Facebook.

Please tell the women who work here to work on their attitudes. I don’t understand how employees could be so rude to customers unprovoked.

I live in McLean, Illinois and have been attempting to get my package for over 10 days. The problem is that Champaigns post office keeps sending it back to Indianapolis and now to Aroma Park, Il instead of McLean. The supervisor there has refused to help in anyway and I believe has made matters worse.

I had good experience in here and the lady with a purple cat-eye glasses was so helpful and knowledgeable. I went to send an important document and I wasn’t sure which service I needed. She explained everything and gave good suggestions. Thank you!

The front desk staff were extremely rude and they lost my passport. I called 20 times and only one call was answered. I drove for half an hour to the post office hoping to get more detailed information about my passport, but the black female employee at the front desk just yelled at me to go home and wait, refusing to provide me with any help. I can't understand why USPS hired such Unprofessional and indifferent staff

Three employees were at the counter.
Two of them closed the counter to do some work, which I totally understand.
The one employee available was joking with a customer for few minutes, and then the lady who had closed the counter to do her own work jumped into the conversation while customers were waiting in line.
Working slowly is one thing, but goofing around and wasting time is another.
I usually visit three different USPS offices and this one is by far the slowest and unfriendliest of all. The only reason I stop by here is because of the convenient location.

One of the worst delivery service ever how does my package says delivery failed when everything for the address I put in was correct just shows how lazy and unprofessional usps is could had easily tried my door if you couldn’t understand the mailboxes give your workers proper training instead of just throwing them in the deep end
