Purchased cameras in 2017. By 2019 they deteriorated to point of useless.housings and wiring rotted. Never was happy with the software. Just today I realized they were billing me for cloud services for past 3 years. Oct 17 I was advised of new yearly billing being billed that day for 2024 cycle. I immediately cancelled and was told sorry too late since Oct 17 was anniversary date .They 100% refused any charge reversal even though it’s on same day as billing. I have not used these cameras for 3 years and they were put in garbage in 2020.Very BAD BAD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.I recommend blink cameras.These are not good people.

I bought a few security cameras from this company and all was well until the last camera was defective. I called & emailed about this issue thinking that the company would stand behind their product......they did NOT. They kept walking me through steps to fix it but it never fixed the problem. They just kept telling me it's a connection issue when clearly it's not . The camera literally is 6 feet from the modem. I have two other cameras that are 20 & 30 feet away that work fine. I never got a solution they never offered a replacement (even though I asked) and just left me with nothing but a broken camera. I'm in the process of switching all my security cameras to a different company that may stand behind their products. Terrible customer service

Worst costumer service beware if you dont remember every number you have called from they can not pull up your account...very misleadingly..I cancelled subscription and they cant refund me cause I dont know what number I called from!? RIP off! Unsafe and unsecured

BE CAREFUL about your DATA. Once you sign on for an account, there isn't a clear way to DELETE it. I've requested they delete the account, will see what happens. Pretty bad practice in an era of GDPR etc.

I am exceedingly disappointed and I'll aspects of service from this company. I would give them zero Stars if I was able to. The customer service is deplorable at best when you're able to reach them. The supposed 24/7 online chat is absolutely useless as far as I'm concerned, I've had multiple issues with them not responding at all and when they do respond it is usually very delayed. I don't feel that the technicians are helpful and troubleshooting the equipment. The most upsetting thing to me is a tie for awful customer service, sub par equipment, and a hidden agenda in the terms and conditions. After a particularly horrible experience I bought these cameras hoping to add a little security in my home. I've had multiple issues the entire time, the most distressing of these being that the cameras will just disconnect from being online for no apparent reason, and even when they are online they miss quite a bit of activity that is perfectly in range. Since I was unaware of these problems, I signed up for the one year cloud service. After the problems began to arise and I was getting very little help from customer service, I attempted to cancel my contract asking for a prorated refund for the time I have not used. I spoke with managers three levels up for my initial call, and they became progressively more rude and disrespectful. The last person I spoke with told me that I agreed in the terms of service to a one-year contract and there was no way I could get out of this, and no way I could obtain any refund for time unused. When I asked to speak with her manager, she became extremely indignant telling me there is no one above her. Now I'm stuck with a useless product for another six months. I think that any company confident in their product and services would not hide these in the terms of conditions, which I admittedly did not read in full detail, and not offer any way out after multiple calls and complaints. I have worked in customer service for many years, and would be ashamed to have my name associated anywhere near this company. I suppose this is a lesson learned, I will now pay more attention to the terms and services that I agree to prior to signing. I would not recommend this product or company. I am much happier with the replacement cameras from SimpliSafe, who is extremely easy to reach and also very polite and easy to work with for the very minor issues I have had.

Great company. I have been buying and installing their systems for my customers for years now. For all the systems I have installed there has not been many problems. When problems do arise, the customer support has always taken care of the problem very quickly. I will continue to buy Zmodo products.Thank you Zmodo.Eddie RatliffKentucky

Very poor customer service. I purchased a ZMODO Greet from Amazon. The unit started failing. A very nice helpful tech immediately ordered a replacement. A new Greet was installed. Within 6 months the same issues began. In conversations with tech support, it was made clear there was a battery issue. A new RMA was issued to replace the new defective unit. Then nothing. I called ZMOTO was told the unit was not under warranty because it was purchased by an unauthorized dealer. I said, "you replaced the first one under warranty". They claimed that was a mistake,,,,,,,really?........ Long story short, a Supervisor made it clear that this last one...sent by ZMODO will not be replaced and that it was more important to ZMODO to NOT take care of a good customer than to repeatedly tell me it wasn't covered by a warranty and that I was just out of luck. Deal with ZMODO at your on risk....

I've had cameras since spring 2016 and i'm very happy with them. Customer service could use a little help. 24/7 365 days a year my cams run not like the ones you have to check on an App and waste batteries.

I have been doing business with them for years. My Rep, Peggy, was able to get the job done. Now, they don't even take your calls, and they offer no customer service. Save your money and buy from Amazon.

Order was not delivered due to an issue with Suite # on the delivery address. Company did not issue credit for undelivered goods and is now unreachable. Moving forward with a fraud complaint.

Zmodo is JUNK. Don't buy! Spent two hours on hold and at exactly 8pm central time they disconnected the call!!! Taking this POS back and buying a better system! This is all very cheap China electrics, unstable, the app sucks, the hardware is cheap and it Doesn't work well!

We purchased the Zmodo cameras and then my husband asked me to go ahead and get the one for the doorbell. It worked very good for a couple of months and then the brightness went dark as though it had no light feature. I called the company to replace it and was sent a email that it would be sent to us. When it did not come, my husband called the company and they very rudely told us they needed the doorbell back before they would send the new one as though they did not trust us. They said the return slip would be pre-paid, when I went to the UPS store it was not a prepaid I had to pay almost $12 to ship it back so who is actually not to be trusted. If you are considering a Zmodo I would reconsider and check out other companies this company's customer service is awful

OMG, NEVER deal w/this company. Bought a security system & it was defective from the start. They ignored me on FB then finally took the system back, I completed an RMA w/my current address & they sent the replacement to the WRONG address! I have proof I sent my current address & they insulted me in an email, lied then tried to cover themselves when I told them I had proof I gave them the right address. So I am out $65, no replacement & had to threaten them to stop bothering me via email! They blocked me on FB also when I asked them why they sent it to the wrong address! WHO is running this company? Look them up on BBB. They need to be shut down or a complete management overhaul!

Got the 8 camera system from them with the NVR. Only set up 4 cameras. Decided to add a few of the extra cameras to the system, as long as you follow their directions, it works great. And if you have an issue, I always email them, they get back to me usually pretty quickly depending on when I sent it in. Using the phone is just frustrating to me anyways.
