I live within walking distance and I'm glad I do. So convenient when you don't feel like driving miles away for a few necessities. Friendly staff and great prices.

Does this facility perform drug/alcohol testing for it's employees?? I think it needs to randomly come in and inspect as twice I visited and was disgusted to smell alcohol on the breath of a manager by the name of "Jean"! Are you seriously letting this happen at this establishment? Someone in corporate needs to get involved immediately I might add......

I'm not sure what the issue is with the manager and why she can't seem to get someone out to fix the front door! Everything is this store is melted. I purchased items that had all been melted. Do not purchase any chocolate items or anything you think could melt. The temperature in the store is incredible hot and all the items have been melted. The front door is open and the humidity in the store has sky rocketed leaving all the food at below normal temperature resulting in unsafe conditions!! I called and was told Alysia in in charge and has done nothing about it! Shame on you..

Stopped to get some patio chair cushions . The poor woman (Tracey) at the register was running the entire store single handedly. I bet there was 20 customers in line. She kept her composure and handled the mob of impatient customer with serious skills. Great job Tracey, that was an inspirational performance. GREAT JOB

the Dollar generals in channahon Illinois managers have been railroaded to take the blame for the lack of competence from the regional manager to cover her own butt. she decided that she was going to fire both managers at two stores for the hiring crisis and lack of manpower. now both stores are running blind. they got rid of two amazing managers at those stores and I'm ok shopping elsewhere.
