Jim is extremely knowledgeable and his shop is very well equipped. He truly cares about the quality of his work and is tenacious about it. He responds to urgency, and takes on emergencies. I have a bad truck and he put a lot of hours into its bad wiring and rusty parts. Now the truck runs well. 2008 F-350.

Broke down at a rest area near here. Had to get towed in to Jim's shop. I have to say that I have not met anyone with more knowledge about powerstroke engines and fuel systems. If you have a power stroke, this is your shop. Highly recommend!

My engine had the flywheel pierce the block. I had no choice but to purchase a new engine. I bought a 6.0 crate and had powerstroke install it. FABULOUS WORK! On time, easy to work with!

Jim is a fantastic Powerstroke Diesel tech and it's very clear that he knows these engines like the back of his hand. He was extremely helpful in getting our 6.0 no-start issue diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner.We had a no-start issue that we suspected was being caused by a lack of oil pressure. After taking the truck to Jim's shop, he was able to verify that the injectors weren't firing as a result of a bad HPOP within a matter of hours. By 2pm the following day he had our biased ICP sensor replaced, our damaged IPR replaced, and a new HPOP installed to finish the repair. The truck runs beautifully now. He was also able to point out a number of other concerns regarding the truck's previous maintenance and reassembly by other mechanics, and corrected them as he saw fit to prevent future issues. If your truck has been reassembled incorrectly, Jim will be able to get it back to how it would have come from the factory with his incredible attention to detail.We will absolutely be using Jim and his services regularly from now on. I highly recommend taking your Powerstroke diesel truck here if you're in the greater Chicagoland area, good mechanics are hard to find and Jim is certainly a needle in the haystack.

I wouldn’t take my lawn mower here. It would sit for 4 months before he tells me it’s got a flat tire. Jim was extremely rude my entire experience working with him. It is hard to find a good diesel mechanic, so save your time and don’t bother taking your vehicles here.

We have been sending our trucks to Jim for about 2 years now. He is the most honest shops that I do business with. When I take one of our trucks to Jim I know the problem will be solved.

Jim has no idea what he is doing when it comes to running a business. He takes weeks if not months to get trucks completed and will tell you a week to get you to bring it in. Just look elsewhere.
