I like the O'Reilly chain but don't let them check your dead battery. I took one there and the next day I picked it up and the sticker on it said BAD. So for kicks I took it to Battery Specialist. Came back the next day and they said it's all charged up and ready to go. So there you have it. O'Reilly's in Charleston has no problem claiming things to make you buy new. Trust is key..... I'll stick with Battery Specialist regarding batteries and charging systems.

I decided to go in this morning for a replacement tail light but when I showed up it said “no power, cash only” on the door. Based only off that I assumed I could go in and ask about the part but I was dead wrong. I walk in expecting the smallest bit of customer service but instead I get greeted by some old guy on his phone not looking up at me saying “sorry no power.” I’m glad he told me that because there’s no way I would have known that by the fact all the lights were off and the paper that was taped to the entrance. I continue to say “I know that, I was just wanting to know if you had the tail lights that I need” and then to my shock he responds in such a childish tone “ well I guess I’d need the power to be able to do my job.” I decided it wasn’t worth it and left to Rural King to get my part. I’d say there’s only two ways to go from this point if I ran the place. Either 1, next time put on the door “no power we’re not good enough to do anything without it,” or option 2, hire more competent workers.

Had a very stressful morning with my car initially not starting followed by a check engine light once it did turn on. Brought it in for a diagnostic test where Crystal was super friendly and prompt with getting it checked out! She helped ease the stress, let me know what could be wrong, and gave a great recommendation for an automechanic here in town to get it further checked out.
