The Chatham Area Public Library District is a beautiful and lovely library with a really nice atmosphere. It offers very helpful and friendly service. The library features a kids' play area with a variety of toys, puzzles, fidgets, and a play house, which is great and educational for children. There is a convenient family bathroom nearby. Facilities include a section on local history, a small cafe, an adjoining bookstore, and an ancestry research room with free resources and access to ancestry.com. Visitors can also use the computers for free internet. If a book is not available, the library will send for it.
Beautiful library. The people that work there are friendly. If they don't have a book they send for it and let you know when it's there. I've only had wonderful experiences here

We visit the library for the kids' play area. My 2 year old enjoyed the variety of puzzles and the play house. They have a variety of toys, puzzles and fidgets for many ages.There is a family bathroom right across from the kid area which makes potty breaks convenient.

Really nice atmosphere and worth the short drive from Springfield to use the computers for free internet use with a valid ID.
