“This is a very nice small business, and exactly as the the name says it has both handmade items and thrift items. I found some unique items, some good deals, and was able to stock up on new seasonal towels with crochet tops that you can hang from your stove and cabinets for a great price. The people were friendly and it was a lovely experience. We will definitely stop back in next time we are in Springfield thrifting!”

“This is a very exceptional Goodwill, in my opinion. The building is wide and open, not crowded like other Goodwill Stores. It has a generous amount of almost everything! And it also has special things – the boutique, clothing, plenty of children’s clothing, and all the unbelievable decor and other items are way above what other stores get in and sell.
I lived here 4 1/2 years, moved here from Milwaukee and I have seen a lot of Goodwill’s! But the Lincoln/Chatham Goodwill is way above what I have experienced in Milwaukee, Chicago, and now here in Springfield! Plus, I have five daughters, two sons-in-law and one grandbaby! I can find really really cute things for my grandson, my daughter is petite and is sometimes hard to shop for, but not here. And the guys are very tall, which is hard to find, but they are usually happy with whatever is picked out for them! Sometimes my daughters even drag them along! I’m 60 years old, I’ve been thrift shopping for quite a long time, many decades before it was fashionable, and I’m really pleased at what I am finding here. Looking forward to retiring in Springfield and feeling like when I step out of my home, and find a Goodwill, I’m getting Chicago items at deep discounts! Thank you so very very much!”
