I just got home from burying my cat, Patches, in the family pet cemetery. She was 15 years old and had developed cancer on her mouth. I took her to Dr. Rediger a few weeks ago. We discussed a plan for Patches to keep her comfortable and able to eat and drink for a while longer using steroids. That helped. Ultimately, though, Patches no longer wanted to eat and had not drank any water in three days. I made the decision over the weekend that it was time to let her go.\\n\\nThis Monday morning, Dr. Rediger made time for me in between her scheduled appointments. I sat on the floor of the exam room with Patches snuggled next to me waiting for her. Dr. Rediger came in and sat down in the floor next to us to administer the two shots necessary to relieve Patches of the agony she was in.\\n\\nI so appreciate the compassion and sensitivity shown to me and Patches by Dr. Rediger and the very sweet receptionist who guided me to the exam room and discreetly took care of the paperwork. It made the heartbreaking circumstance go a little bit easier. Thank you.

I haven't taken my pet to Village Veterinarian for long, but am extremely impressed by their professionalism and kindness so far! They did a full checkup on my dog and knew just what was wrong. They were very nice and welcoming too. I am so thankful I found this vet. Highly recommend.

We called the office for an emergency and they dropped everything to save her. It was a scary couple of days but our girl now seems to be on the mend. The staff answered all of our questions and took such good care of her.

my dear Max had an emergency last week. We called over 10 clinics and no one had room in the inn. We called The Village Veterinarian and they immediately squeezed is in. They took great care of our furbaby and I truly believe that Dr. Paul and his wonderful staff saved Max's life.

Always kind and generous. Love for pets is obvious. Wish it weren't so expensive, but will pay to keep dogs healthy.

Just wanted to thank The Village Veterinarian for showing some compassion today. Today I found a great big turtle in the road by lake Springfield. He was already hit and had a majority of his shell in pieces. His back legs were completely limp but he was still poking his little head in and out. When I picked him up a good cup of blood ran out. Needless to say, he was not going to survive. The staff at The Village Veterinarian did not hesitate when I asked them to help. They unfortunately had to do the human thing and euthanize the poor little fella. They would not even allow me to pay for the services. Thank you so much for being compassionate and helping out this bleeding heart.

I've been going to the Village Veterinarian for the past 18 years, the wife's been taking her cats longer than that. Those guys are the best, hands down. We always get the best care for our crew, even with the hissing and growling!

The moment we walked in the office I knew we were supposed to be here. My dog received the best care, to say the least. You can see the everyone takes their time with each pet that comes through the door. Compassion is the foundation of The Village Veterinarian. Thank you so much!! #WOOF

I have to say thank you to Dr. Nicholas Primm and Tricia and any other staff that was there last night when we had to put our sweet Sparky down. Dr. Primm is the kindest, sweetest vet. He was caring and so thoughtful with not only Sparky but with us. Even though we were there for a crummy reason, they made it as easy as possible for us to go through this. Thank you for loving our pets but also for caring about us, too.
