About Randolph County State Recreation Area
Randolph County State Recreation Area is a beautiful and clean place with a lake, camping areas, and many hiking and horseback riding trails. Visitors have enjoyed viewing the eclipse, fishing for catfish and other species, and relaxing in picnic areas. The park is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leash, and features clean restrooms and playgrounds. Camping is available, including primitive options, and is often free for veterans. The park offers accessible facilities for everyone and is suitable for outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and picnicking. While some visitors noted difficulty finding a concession stand and the absence of shower houses, overall, it is a great spot to enjoy nature and outdoor fun.

Very clean and pretty. Went here a month ago to view the eclipse. Only thing is I saw signs for a concession stand and never found it. Not sure if it's not there anymore or if I was just lost. Aside from that, great place!

We went to see the eclipse and it was Amazing! I did some hiking in the area and the paths were into the woods. Dogs were everywhere with their owners.
