This shop helped me so much. I am very grateful for Rodrigo and for Ben (before he left) they helped me through a lot of nonsense that was not their fault. They got my car together. I needed a brand new engine and they took car of my baby! The gentleman were all very nice.

Brought my car in for the transmission to be be repaired they told me it needed a new transmission. They had my car for a week and kept telling me that they couldn't find my part. The kept telling me 'tomorrow at the latest' and never finding it. Took it home and repaired it myself just needed a new pipe assembly.Service: Transmission

They did a great job on my vehicle.. What i didn't like was , I brought my vehicle to them Wednesday morning and I didn't get it back until Tuesday and it wasn't even an engine problem.

Very good reliable fast courtesy service!I drop my car off and it was fixed in a timely manner. Each technician was nice and let me know what was going on. Also prices were not too bad. I would definitely recommend this shop.

My vehicle been at this shop for over 4 months, and every time I get a update, that individual either leave or transfer and the paperwork for my vehicle either has to be started over or it has been lost, I been using public transportation all this time, and when I finally get some positive information on the progress of my vehicle I found out that my transmission has to be rebuilt and sent to this shop. Now after waiting all this time I get a call saying I need trans line and a new starter, I agree to get those things fixed and was call about the price of the repairs and was agreed upon, I come to pick up my vehicle and was given another price and was told that the technician that just called me no longer work there and they can’t release my vehicle because the invoice and the price quoted is to far apart, this is not acceptable in any form, I wasn’t compensated for any of my time without my vehicle and to say I can’t have my vehicle when I brought the amount quoted, and to be asked to take a Uber to get back home. What you have is a very disappointed customer who has to get a ride by home. What would you suggest I do, go to small claim court or whatService: Transmission

Crystal Lake, installed a defective transmission. It broke down 300 miles. Had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement 1800 miles away from home. No competition for my time or expenses. Felt that I needed to use a national repair shop for warranty. Did not expect to need the warranty 1 week after spending $7500. for a new not rebuilt transmission. Second transmission has no issues as of now.Services: Transmission

They did a horrible job on my 2007 jeep srt8 I came in for a differential change I brought my own part they told me that’s not what I needed I needed a transfer case so then I bought a transfer case and they put that on and the same noise was occurring. They told me my car was done and that you can still hear the noise but it was like night and day it was a huge difference I got in my vehicle and drove off and the vehicle was making the exact same noise it was making when I brought it I brought my car back to have them take another look at it and they told me it was my differential that need to be changed so I had to pay double the amount to get my differential put on when I only need the differential from the beginning and not a transfer case you need to watch out for them the ones in Chicago Heights I spoke with the managers in the hall and they all said they cannot do nothing for me I will have to pay again I hate it there customer service skills I would not recommend anybody to go hereService: Transmission

Came in with general diagnosis of what check engine light cause was. AAMCO came up with more complete cause with an hour. They tried to have repair covered by warranty company. (Couldn't.) Had repair done anyway. With "programming" of part, job was estimated to take 4 hours of one day, and, an hour of a second. Got it all done in one day, with a year's warranty.Services: Transmission repair

I had high hopes, but Unfortunately, the estimate given of a 4 hour service was very underestimated. First they told me the part was lost in transit, then it hadn't been shipped and then it was found, then the communication was not good, I had to keep calling to get updates and the entire transaction took 2 and half days that cost me money and time. They easily give the corporate phone number. Ironically when I came in originally for the diagnosis only, I saw another customer come in very upset with no cooperation from them at the time. I thought maybe it was unwarranted, but I see now I was wrong. They proceeded to give them this grand corporate phone number also so they could leave a message and wait for someone to call them back within 2 days. Same with me....so I searched and tried multiple numbers from online to reach a live person which initially seemed helpful, but had a callous demeanor. They were only willing to value my time and inconvenience at a $100 discount ( which also got reduced when I was about to pay and I questioned the Office manager with push back so I was done with the struggle and just said ok), and the director of consumer affairs said they are actually losing money on this. I was not the one to underestimate the time involved with the repair. So I go pick up the car and turn the air conditioning on while in the parking lot and the thing that I came in to get fixed, still was not working so I go back in and sit for another half hour or so. I definitely would not recommend them due to lack of communication, accountability and courtesy. (side note, the office manager end up going back to the original $100 discount so at least they did end up honoring that)Service: Air conditioning

Prepare for unprofessionalismI've been dealing with a manager by the name of nakeria. When I called to inquire about getting my car serviced she was very warm and welcoming. Once she got my vehicle she turned cold and unpleasant. She never called to communicate with me what going on with my car. She told me the work that needed to be done could be completed within four hours and it took her over a full week to get the job done. Last Friday she she said it would be done MondayMonday she said it would be Tuesday. Tuesday cane and I never heard anything else from her. Now here it is Friday and I'm being told there is an extra two hundred dollars that needs to be paid in order to get my car back. I was never called and told about this extra money that woneeded. She left the store to her techs to dealing her dirty work and telling me what needs to be done. Other customers in the lobby complaing about the same kind of inconsistencies . Aamco has costed me over 600.00 because I've had to pay out of picked for rental for a car that should have been done.. this place is a joke and so is the manager
