Heights Fresh Market is a very clean store that stands behind the 'fresh' in its name. The meat department is the best, with the highest quality beef, chicken, fish, and pork. Employees are friendly and sweet, often going out of their way to help customers find what they need. The store offers a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with a full line of groceries and alcohol. Popular items include the fresh churros, soft pan de dulce and bollilos, as well as tamales and barbacoa. The adjacent Mexican restaurant is a plus. While most products are excellent, there have been occasional issues with moldy strawberries and a bad smell in the meat line area needing cleaning. Overall, it is a good place with variety and good prices sometimes.
