About Nazarene Nursery School
A Nursery and Pre-School for ages 6-weeks old through Kindergarten. The school was founded in 1968 and has served the community faithfully for more than 50 consecutive years. The staff is well trained and constantly seeking to gain more certifications and training. The school has the coveted 'silver rating' from the State of Illinois. Only a very small percentage of Pre-Schools have that high of a commendation. The school is Christian in its teaching and provides genuine love and care to every child. The 'teacher to student' ratio meets or exceeds State of Illinois recommendations. Children who attend the Nazarene Kindergarten test in the 90+ percentile and enter 1st grade excelling among their peers in every area.

I've had all my 3 boys attend the nursery for day and after school program. Excellent Christian education, too bad they only go up to kindergarten but before and after school programs go up to 12 years old which is fabulous.Enjoyed the Christmas program this year, Spanish hermitage month celebration and weekly chapel.

My daughter and niece went here as nursery school and kindergarten. They have grown exponentially well in academics and life. I could not be more proud of them. I now, 22 years later, have a son who i wish to be placed here. So he can get ther early learning that my daughter and niece recieved.

This school is amazing. A great staff, clean facilities (a gym for the kids to play in during the winter), awesome education opportunities and 50+ years of service to the community. What more needs to be said? The best in the area, for sure.
