THIS NEW MANAGEMENT SUCKS. THEY NEVER RESPOND TO YOUR EMAILS. INCREASE DRUG, CIGARETTES ETC ODORS HAD GOTTEN HORRIBLE IN THIS BUILDING.
AGAIN❗❗ THEY'RE DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. SINCE THE NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY HAS TAKEN OVER.
WE ONLY RECEIVED 2 LETTERS FROM THEM.1- INTRODUCING THEMSELVES. & 2-A LETTER LETTING US KNOW THEY WILL BE CLOSING EARLY TODAY DUE TO THE HOLIDAY WOW❗❗ NOTHING ELSE SEEMS TO MATTERS TO THEM.
THE STAFF ARE SO UNPROFESSIONA , IF YOU SEE THEM IN THE MAIN LOBBY AND SPEAK THEY SAY NOTHING. I'VE NOTICED MORE PEOPLE ARE MOVING OUT THEN IN ESPECIALLY, SINCE THIS NEW MANAGEMENT HAS TAKEN OVER.

Homeless looking crazy old ppl live here who will come out of their apartment when you minding your business coming or leaving home (even they are in corner units and you dont pass their doors) and they will start calling you and other tenants names. Constant verbal and sometimes physical harassment for no reason!!!! Management is no help!!!! Had to bring it to the police.

I moved here just about a month ago and I wish I had done it sooner. Cortney at leasing made the transition for me so easy. I was having issues at a previous apt, and she was able to assist me to move in right away. She found me the unit I was looking for, and was able to help me get in right away. My questions were answered promptly, and thoroughly. Her dedication is above and beyond. I can't say enough great things about the front desk concierge team at 1001 too.They are always professional, courteous, and go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and cared for. Whether it's handling packages, food deliveries, or simply greeting everyone with a warm smile, they truly make a difference in the daily living experience here.
A special shoutout to Nakia for always being so helpful , attentive and kind. Her commitment to excellent service and attention to detail never goes unnoticed. Our safety is her priority. She takes pride in her work, and it makes this building really feel like home when she stops me to have a conversation about my day everyday, she genuinely cares. As a medical student who is far from home, this makes me feel very loved, and cherished.

We’ve had an outstanding experience moving into 1001 S State. From our first tour, Kittrell made us feel right at home. He was genuinely supportive and looked out for our best interests throughout the entire process. From the application and lease to move-in day, everything went smoothly thanks to his attention to detail. His positive attitude and welcoming demeanor made all the difference. Not to mention, the entire front desk team has been incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful as we get to know the building.

My fiance and I love 1001 S State. Its a hidden gem in the southloop area. Perfectly located for people who love being downtown but a little away from the craziness of downtown around the river. We recently upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom and it was such an easy transfer with the help of Kittrell. He made our move easy and stress free, which has become a common theme living here. We love the front door staff, everyone is so friendly and thoughtful. Nikia is always a pleasure to speak to as well as everyone else! The maintenance guys are also always very prompt and get things done so quick when you place a maintenance order. Juan and Geo are awesome! Aisha (Not 100% sure how to spell her name), Tasha, and the rest of the facility custodian staff are amazing and always have the building in tip top shape.
Before deciding to upgrade our floor plan at 1001, we looked around at other apartments in the area and even in other neighborhoods. But once there was an available 2 bedroom that opened up for us, we knew our best option was to stay at 1001 S State. Again, we highly recommend it to anyone!

I've had the pleasure of living at 1001 S State for almost 2 years, and it's been an amazing experience. I am currently upgrading from a studio to 1 bed with the help of Kittrell who has made it easy & efficient! Thank you my friend!
A special shout-out to Nikia who brightens my day every time I see her. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. From day one she has always greeted me with a smile and shown genuine care that makes living here feel extra special. It’s truly the little things that make all the difference!
I’ve had nothing but great experiences here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to live!

The best, safest, spacious, modern, affordable complex in South Loop! 1001 has been home for me and my fiancé for a year, and we are so happy to be re-signing for an even longer leasing term. The rooftop lounge, pool, arcade room, grilling/fire pit area, office space, and gym are always clean and tidy. The parking garage is attached with its own residents only elevator to get up to your floor - making carrying groceries up so much easier! 1001 also has an app where you can schedule a workout class (privately instructed in our gym), car detailing service where then person comes directly to our garage, and even housekeeping where someone will come once or scheduled as frequent as you’d like. Not only do the front doors lock to nonresidents at a certain time, there is a 24/7 doorman for security. 1001 also hosts seasonal events with food and entertainment & even random coffee and donut nights in the lobby where you can sneak down for an evening snack! All of the office staff is amazing, efficient, and kind! Kittrell has been our go to guy, helping us at any time of the day with whatever it is we need! He, along with the others, actually care about the residents and it shows! We couldn’t ask for a better place to call home!

I love living here! The building is clean and well maintained, the amenities are first class, The view of Chicago from the 40th floor rooftop terrace is spectacular. If there’s an apartment maintenance issue they respond right away. The building management and lobby employees are very friendly and the parking garage inside the building is a plus if you have a car. The location can’t be beat if you want to live 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue and Grant Park as well as all the food shopping options within a 1 to 4 block walking radius. .

My maintenance request was fixed swiftly. I had an issue with a kitchen appliance just before Thanksgiving and the staff at 1001 were able to fix my request same day! I am very grateful for the fast repair.
