You have to ask them every time to apply the specials and promotions, and even then you have to verify if they do it correctly. Even then, they often mess it up and still sell it for much higher than it's meant for.
The register display thing with the prices is also intentionally hidden from your view so that it's harder for you to verify.
See the other bad reviews. Next time I will insist they get the price right, no matter how long it takes

got racially profiled here by an older male employee here about 3 weeks ago. There were other non black students who left without buying anything but the guy singled me out and accused me of stealing. When I showed him nothing was in my pockets and that my bag was empty, he rolled his eyes at me and went back into the store without apologizing for the confusion. I dont shop here anymore for that reason

The staff here are rude and will take any opportunity to scam you. They will ring up your items at higher than the advertised price or add things to the bill without asking you and then pressure you into purchasing what they added. They will ring up items at way above their listed price (such as a price on the packaging) and illegally refuse to honor the advertised price. The prices are often more than 60% higher than other stores nearby and they only get away with it because most of their customers are IIT students with no other option.

I recently stopped by this 7-Eleven and, unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. First, the entrance was blocked, which forced me to walk around to access the store. This was inconvenient and could have been easily avoided.
Once inside, the store felt cramped due to the layout and placement of items. There wasn’t much foot traffic during my visit, so it could have been better organized for a smoother shopping experience.
To top it off, the cashier’s customer service was lacking. They weren’t particularly in a good mood, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.
This location has potential, but a few improvements could make a big difference in customer satisfaction.
