Soo It was about 1am in the morning and I had to buy some pads. This man denied me service saying " we're closed " when obviously there were people in there (hispanic) I told him it was emergency and nothing else is open and I really needed pads. He still wouldn't let me in. After 5 mins of walking around looking for an open convenient store I came back to this one to try again, and when I came back he let someone else in ( hispanic) I was LIVID.. I knocked again on the door explaining I'm a student, showed him my ID and everything. I'm obviously not a threat. He should worried about the migrants that come in there every day stealing and not black people... alone students. He finally let me in and was starring me down as I got my items . Very messed up don't recommend this location.

This place needs to not be allowed to serve food. It’s disgusting inside. Taquitos werent even labeled. Guy was guessing which were which and he was wrong. What if I was allergic to beef? I could have died.

This store usually have nice employees no matter what time of the day it is.. Today i experience one of there newer employees being rude and nasty to a customer. Because the lady told her that she was being over charged the girl name was Angie and she was mexican she had a very nasty attitude with the lady and she also started talking about the lady in spanish to her coworker no respect at all she needs to be removed if not lose her job that was so disrespectful.

my family and I stopped in here to this 7-Eleven in Chicago on our trip this week. I don't have 7-Elevens in louiville I wonder why not really sure why we don't have 7-Elevens it seems like it's one of the major establishments or the popular convenience stores we don't really have those at all we primarily have a lot of BP's and shells and things of that nature I'm not impressed with 7-Eleven whatsoever I had to go in here pretty frequently just because it might get candy you sold us something that nature but it's nothing great whatsoever it's kind of dirty kind of poor looking I don't know of all the establishments are like this but the two that I visited here in downtown Chicago we're not anything that I enjoyed being in

I note this as being in a new neighborhood for a while I am always interested in the real local dives. Already done the tourist stuff in this city. Why are the homeless now in their mid twenties? And surprisingly well dressed? I'll refrain from passing judgement as I really don't know. But you'll find them here every morning. This was the first time I ever tried pizza from a 7-11. It wasn't very good because it had been made possibly hours and hours before and the cheese was like glue. When South Loop has real pizza with good cheese across the street at Vino why would you get it here? (Do they have food stamps or something like that here which covers hot food???) The staff was friendly but to be honest kinda trashy looking. Yeah a tattoo here and there is great (especially on a females thigh area) but on your neck? Come on! I gave the other slice of pizza to one of the homeless kids and he started to crank up his story and told him "I don't need to hear it, eat the f****** pizza" and he said "Thank you and God Bless". He started to eat it and gave me a thumbs up. Told him "Gig "em!" God Bless America

Typical 7-11, although I'd always recommend spending those dollars 2 blocks down in the South Loop, at Dearborn and Harrison, where a friendly staff exists.
