Good coustmer service better than renter center

Zero stars would suffice. Ordered a bed online that was expected to be delivered this week. Only to receive a call late in the evening asking if the address on my id matched the delivery address. Being that I just moved here and will not be a permanent IL resident, I advised that the addresses are different. The dismissive individual on the phone then informs me that they can’t deliver if the addresses are different. I asked why this “policy” isn’t mentioned in the lease agreement or ANYWHERE else in the rental process…no answer.
I then call corporate who informed me that Aarons policy does allow for a lease agreement and or utility bill to be provided as proof of residency. The lady from the corporate call center called the store and then comes back and says this “policy” has been imposed separately from what corporate does on behalf of the regional manager.
I can’t help but wonder if I would’ve had the same issue if my address weren’t in Englewood.
Have your policies but at least make them known ahead of time OR better yet if you’re so hard up because of fraud…DONT ACCEPT ONLINE ORDERS! Treating honest people like criminals is not the answer.
The rep from corporate claimed to have escalated this to the regional manager but I have my doubts as Ive received no correspondence post call as promised.
Had this bs policy been made known I wouldn’t have wasted my time and could’ve arranged for a different living arrangement. Instead I’ll have to sleep on the floor until some other place is able to deliver furniture and God knows how long that’ll take.

They don’t let you use all your leasing power which is not fair thinking about having them come pick the rest of this stuff up in go else where!!. High prices plus don’t let you use all your leasing power 5k for a bedroom set

Bad experience we have had our refrigerator for not even a year .we got it 4 monthes ago.and the ice maker don't even make ice and the thing about it we are still paying for it !!! We are going to need someone out here to service it asap !!!

I ordered my furniture online. 2 days later i got a verification call from Rep. I verified my identity and she sent me a denial email. I then went back online and was able to see that my furniture was being delivered to a 60639 area. I will be contacting corporate about this!!!!

Let me say this, Hiam is the best!!! I had a situation with my account and she was so patient explaining my account to me!!! Her professionalism is a breath of fresh air.
