I'm a African-American that visited this store and noticed that I was treated rudely and condescendantly different than the Caucasian customers in the store when asking if I can have a pipe cut which is a service they offer the older gentleman in the back that cuts the pipes looked at me and said "whatever"in a condescending tone. I'm not a violent individual but there are moments in life where even I have to restrain myself. All in all the store has a great selection of products and I will continue to to go there for my needs but will be ready to snap back verbally if I feel as if I am being degraded as a black customer again

I love my Ace here in Uptown! It's been here forever, and the staff is great. And it is like the TARDIS as one reviewer posted. They have way, way, way more items than any big box store, it's awesomely mind boggling. And the BEST part is it COSTS LESS!! Just take a look at the prices on their website compared to other stores. Solid PROOF. I don't even bother to go to any other stores once I saw the price differences online years ago and the selections. I'm so glad they were able to fix their store front, like the masonry and stuff, they deserved that fully. And with that area being revived, all the new buildings and rehabs I'm sure they will have even more customers. I just wish would extend their hours at least to 6pm so we could shop there after work but Saturday is fine for me for now. Thanks guys for being the best.

I get my pest control items here. Roach motels, mice glue traps. The roach motels used to be $ 3.59, today they were $5.59! One day later, I go to Dollar general and their roach motels are still $ 3.59! ?
