These people are extremely rude and aggressive. I had a horrible experience with the woman who tailored my dress for a wedding. I decide to try it again since it’s steps away, and when You walk in, they don’t great you. The guy yelled at me while paying because I clicked no receipt for my payment. My fiancé walked in with a bag of dry cleaning and after waiting 5 minutes and no one came to the counter her walked out. There are plenty of other places in the neighborhood to take your clothes. I would not recommend giving them business.

This is the best place to bring nicer items. I took a pair of fabric pants to three different cleaners in the area and this was the only place that was able to remove it completely. I have also had several suits hemmed at the sleeves and pant length and the hemming was well done each time.

I highly suggest going elsewhere and not spending your money here. They are super overpriced and honestly just very rude. Probably the most disrespected I’ve ever felt as a customer. There are plenty of other options in the area

Do not get your dry cleaning or tailoring done here. I had a pair of pants that I left with them to be tailored. I paid at the time I dropped them off. When I came to pick them up, the owner told me it would be $10 more and refused to give them back. He never called me before he started tailoring them to tell me that it would be more expensive and continued to refuse to give me back my pants and dry cleaning. After telling him that’s illegal, he finally gave them back. But don’t get your tailoring or dry cleaning done here because apparently the owners are dishonest and will hold your clothes hostage unless you pay them more.

The couple who run Advanced Cleaners are super friendly and helpful. I've been going there for many years (after bad experiences at a couple of other nearby cleaners) and have always been happy with the service - never any issues with lost or damaged items. I've taken all kinds of items for cleaning and mending, and they are always reasonable with timing and prices. Also, when something needed more expensive service than originally thought, they called me before starting the work to make sure it was OK. Definitely recommend!

I moved to Wicker Park a little over a year ago and have been using Advanced Cleaners for my wide range of cleaning needs, from down jackets, suits, to silk blouses, for the past year. My family's clothes were always handled with care and cleaned perfectly even when there were tough stains.The prices are a little more than other cleaners, but my experience has been extremely positive and consistent. I also love that they keep a tidy and clean store and that means they put additional care into their business.
