I stop inside the store instead of shopping online today and I am thankful that I did! The sales rep Haven meet me with a warm smile and greetings. I explained the type of occasion I will be attending along with my style. Not only did he bring my personal style together with great energy which was vibrant and super encouraging! He enlightened me in the item he chose for me. Informing me of the versatility they will bring for other outfits. It only took him was try and that showed me he was truly attentive to what I needed and wanted. It’s moments like this that will keep me from online shopping. I will be shopping with Haven again! I am truly a sucker for exceptional customer service! ?

Today is my Birthday and I’ve been to 3 different boutiques and couldn’t find ANYTHING that screams “ITS MY BIRTHDAY.!! “ Well that QUICKLY changed once I walked into Akira in Buck-town.!! I initially walked in stressed and over it and while browsing I came across Ed one of the store managers and he greeted me with such an friendly and calming vibe and asked if I was okay and if I found everything okay. I immediately said no with exhaustion and told him it’s me and my twin sister birthday and I wanted to dress similar to her which was SEXY but with CLASS.! I showed him a picture of what she was wearing and he said give my one second and when I say it really was a SECOND.!! He came back with an outfit not only similar but the moment I saw it I put back what was in my hand with no hesitation.! My heart dropped when I seen how fast he put together a full outfit , shoes and accessories.! I was going for an island girl look to match my curly hair and let’s just say Ed expertise and FASHION SKILLS gave me ISLAND GAL PLUSSS MORE.! Only someone with A LOVE FOR FASHION can pull what Ed pulled in ONE MINUTE TO EXACT.! Once I tried everything on my heart again begun to throb because I found myself so insecure after having my twins and not wanting to show too much skin but Ed helped me BRING MY SEXY BACK IN THE MOST CLASSIEST WAY.!!! I couldn’t THANK Ed enough.! He really was heaven sent like God himself helped me find him.! I’m sitting in the car crying writing my review because it’s people like Ed that makes a world difference in such a short period .! Less than 10 mins I was checked out and READY TO SLAY.! If your unsure and want to step out with confidence make sure you visit Ed at Akira in Bucktown YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.!! Absolutely LOVE this location!! Great customer service from everyone and lots of selections. I’ve rushed to this location on so many occasions last minute and every time I’m in and out. Ed is so phenomenal at styling me I literally fill him in on the event and he lays out everything for me inside the fitting room and I leave HAPPY every single time!! 10/10 experience

I’ve never shopped at Akira before but have been wanting to since constantly window shopping their online store for about a year, before moving to Chicago a few months ago. I went into this location yesterday to get a few things for my upcoming girls trip to Tulum. This shopping experience was like none other! The staff was so friendly and welcoming asking me what occasion I was shopping for a becoming my personal shoppers. I don’t know the last time I was in a store that actually did that. Jocelyn and Delicious helped me the most pulling items for some themed nights we had planned and adjusting my sizes. It really was so helpful because I went alone with no friends to give their opinion on things. I ended up looking at shoes and there was a BOGO sale so I left with 4 pairs for other seasons as well lol. I was just really happy with my items and customer service I happily overspent, and will be back next month to do it again for my birthday. Thank you to all the staff here, the manager, cashier, everyone!

The staff in there are absolutely incredible. I was helped by Catalina and one other woman, who I wish I could remember her name, who dressed me for approximately two hours. I have never felt more sexy and beautiful in my life. They picked out things for me that I would have never chosen myself. Spent easy $200 and it was so worth it!!!

I loved my experience at this location! Jocelyn was an amazing stylist, she picked out my outfit for an upcoming event and even picked out summer pieces that I wouldn’t normally go for but I certainly enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone. I am so grateful for all the help from her and the other associates. Thank you again Jocelyn, I left so happy with my recent purchase!

Just ordered my new year’s outfit for 2024 … first time I pay for rush delivery (delivery option I chose was 2-3 days) no joke next day my order was delivered. I was impressed by the fast delivery especially been December 27th . I was so excited ? I got the notification of my delivery. ? so happy with my dress and boots everything fits so perfectly. Absolutely love this store! Jupiter is the most wonderful stylist anyone could ever ask for! We brought a group here looking for some sparkle outfits for a holiday sparkle party and Jupiter was extremely helpful. We brought our daughters, and Jupiter was able to style each of us at 58 years old and 28 years old! The store has so many beautiful items to choose from, we didn't know where to start! We have been shopping at Akira with Jupiter every year since 2017 to buy holiday sparkle outfits. Akira has such a great selection of awesome party clothes! I give our shopping experience at Akira on North avenue five stars!
