This is by far the best Aldi's location I've ever been to... #1: I just gotta mention that Aldi's has REALLY stepped up the food game... But what I LOVE WAY MORE is that the employees are FABULOUS!!! They even notice the little things, like the fact that my husband and I get the same ice cream EVERY DAY (btw their strawberry ice cream is only $2.89 and is made with REAL sugar (not high fructose corn syrup) and skim milk (which is SUPER-DE-DUPER IMPORTANT cuz we're both lactose intolerant and this is the ONLY ice cream we can eat that does NOT mess up our stomach... (And we both eat an entire carton by ourselves!!! Lol) I love these guys!!!

On Sundays i would imagine they would know it is going to be real busy due to it being a lot of peoples day off. They need to make sure they keep to lines open as soon as they see it is getting busy. Its crazy to have to stand in line for so long only for one item. Damn nearly 30 minutes is not okay

I love shopping at Aldi’s stores but this is my least favorite every time I go there the check out lanes are very long and the staff is rude they throw everything in the cart I put a box or bags and they don’t put it in there and literally throw everything the only thing I noticed they were careful was with the eggs gave them in my hand I appreciate that, but has no express checkout or self pay and I rather pay myself is the only Aldi and grocery store near the area so was very convenient but decided not to use this location due to only one cashier open they when they see the line at almost the end of the shelf’s someone comes but still have to wait for them to log in and get ready. Owner of this location please invest in self check out at least 3 all of the other locations has like 7 plus one open cashier even when I go there just to buy milk and eggs the waiting line will be long that I prefer to drive more far to another location to the one on kostner and north ave and has the self checkout for a faster service.

Aldi on Kedzie and Chicago Ave - is it a prerequisite to hire the rudest candidates, or is it dumb luck?
I do instacart and door dash and I no longer accept any deliveries that require me to enter the Aldi at 800 Kedzie/ Chicago, or the Wing Stop. I don't like shopping there for myself - they can't pay me enough to go there for someone else. And being a food desert, there are no other options for affordable groceries in the area. I wonder why...
And the racist security guard who maced a young man today after following him into the store to harass him- I'll be reporting you. You should be arrested for assault, and hate crime. Or is it ok to assault someone while calling them racial epithets if they're white?
I'll find out.
