The 1 star review is solely for the new district manager and not the store or any of its employees. My mother and I were shopping. The whole time we were there, there was a child who cried and cried until he left the store. With everything going on in the world, and being a mother myself, I went down the aisle the boy was at because I could not see the mother in sight. Security was talking to the boy, and so was the DM and an employee. Upon further inspection, as I approached the boy, it's clear that he is in distress, throwing a tantrum because his mother refused to buy a toy. As I neared, the DM asked, "Do you want me to take you to your mom?" The child continues to cry and not coorporate. As I am passing her up, she turns around, clutching her clipboard in hand, and proceeds to say, "That's okay. We can keep him, and he can stock up shelves for us.". The comment was absolutely distasteful and unnecessary. The child was clearly emotional, and the mother was visibly upset. She did not have a cart with her, not that I was able to see. This led me to believe that she may not have had the funds to purchase said toy. No. This is not a child care position. But that is no reason to act the way she did that day. Everybody walking through the doors of Aldi is a customer. Therefore, everyone should receive that 110% customer satisfaction. Going above and beyond. We live in a time where businesses literally crumble with the circulation of one video, one accusation. This is someone in a leadership role and should act like it. Instead, what I witnessed was pure entitlement. Absolutely disgusting. If I happen to have the pleasure of running into her, It would be my honor to put her in her place. I have been struggling to find employment with my extensive hospitality and customer service experience, and to see people like her in positions like these that can change someone's life is absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE have her take some training because she clearly has no life experiences whatsoever when it comes to these difficult situations.

Love this Aldi. Convenient location, friendly staff, the only issue was this one time I bought salmon and it wasn't fresh when I got home but usually the meat and cheese is fine. Also sometimes there are too many flies on the blackberries since produce is right by door

I shop at Aldi all the time especially during the a m and never have I ever been told that they don't serve alcohol before 12. Highly upset because I was just at Aldi a few days in the am before and bought 3 bottles of wine. Today I wanted to buy 1 bottle of wine and was told they don't serve alcohol before 12, I'm like when did this start, be around the pandemic. Straight B's. Highly annoyed and irritated. Maybe he didn't have the code or something to unlock the purchase for alcohol?

I wish I could give no stars. Today is now 06/7/2024. Yesterday I sent my neice here to apply for a job, A mexican or mixed woman that works there, told her they don't hire black people. When i know thats not true.I'm really disgusted with this. Black people shop here everyday. I will get to the bottom of this

Great products, I make this my second grocery store of the day after doing most of my shopping at a bigger store, it gives me the odds and ends that I need to complete my shopping list. Great place!
