Dave and the store manager Brian are amazing folks there. Had issues with my loafers I bought online cause they were too narrow. Took them into the store and they were going to stretch them. When that didn’t work they quickly found another size and switched them out no questions asked. When you spend 200 dollars plus on shoes this is the kind of service you can expect. The shoes are great but the service and people are even better. Will not be buying online but will go in moving forward.

Dave, is your guy!! I’ve been a massive fan of Allen and Edmond’s for over 10 years and I currently still have a pair 10 years old that holds up like I bought them this year. Dave is one of the best reps in the business and an overall great and genuine person. He will help you find what you need.

Over a few visits to the store (a purchase, a return, and to browse), I received terrible customer service from 3 employees and 1 was ok. They seemed indifferent or annoyed to have to work. The last visit was the last straw for me. When I walked in the salesperson didn’t even greet me. He just looked at me and smirked. I looked at a pair of boots that I had seen on the website. He did not offer to help me at all. When I walked out of the store he just smirked again, I’m guessing because he thought the boots were too expensive for me. He didn’t say a word to me the entire time I was in the store. I’ve gotten better service at discount shoe stores. Btw bro, I already knew how much the shoes cost when I came in.

Gus & his team are aces. They didn’t pressure me to buy the most expensive shoes, nor did they suggest the cheapest options. They listened to my needs and made the best recommendations while bringing a matching belt. 11/10

I have not been impressed with the Allen Edmonds brand. I have multiple items that have failed during their useful life. The failures were not wear and tear related. Allen Edmonds does not stand by their products. They will not repair or warranty failures of their products as you would expect from an expensive, high end brand. I will not buy products from them any longer.

Bryan, the store manager, and Allen, a customer service representative, were SO incredibly helpful and thoughtful during my exchange with them, despite not having been in store. They are perfect examples of the quality staff I have seen at every Allen Edmonds store I have had the pleasure of shopping at. I will definitely be making a stop the next time I am in Chicago to give them my business.

I decided to buy my first pair of oxford shoes. I did some research and wanted something made in USA. I visited this place in the Michigan Avenue. The store manager and another gentleman (I did not ask his title but they both seem very experienced, knowledgeble, and passionate about the shoes). They measured my feet well and made sure I got the right size. I am so glad that I now wear nice Allen Edmonds Park Avenue to work. Buying a pair of shoes from people with great work ethic makes the whole experience (from buying them to wearing them) so much greater! I'll never forget this good experience and it adds for sure extra value to my shoes.

I was sent the wrong pair of shoes so I went to the Michigan Ave Allen Edmonds to exchange them. Dave Sheehan was the sales expert and was very generous with making it right. He priority shipped the correct shoes and waived the shipping fee to do so, even recommending a place to get a free shoe shine. Ask for Dave S!
