I just bought a $40 watch from here and a day after I got it, the chain broke. I have not slept with it on or done any rough activities while wearing and it just fell off my wrist. The watch I bought was less premium than I expected.

Used to love coming to this store. We went yesterday around 5. The employees were too busy talking among themselves at the register to acknowledge anyone. We were ignored the entire time we were in there.

Altar’d State is such a beautiful store! I really appreciated the decor, organization and overall inviting ambiance.
I was greeted by the very lovely Robert who assisted with helping me pick out the perfect dress. He was extremely knowledgeable about the store and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was well taken care of while shopping. His presence was very pleasant and authentic which elevated the entire experience. I got an amazing dress in the end and left happily thanks to Robert’s amazing, infectious energy. Thank you Altar’d State. I will be returning soon!

I was dissatisfied with my visit here. I exclusively shop for all my clothes at Altard state Grand Rapids mi. I’ve never had a bad experience at that location. However this was just not great at the Chicago location the stylist helped for
Five minutes but stopped when she couldn’t get my size then the fitting room attendant started helping me and did an okay job. If I am shopping at the prices your products are listed at I expect to have five star. Disorganized. If you’re going to pay these prices go to the Grand Rapids the manager and stylists are top tier and go above and beyond. This place just does a disservice to the company’s values

I randomly came across Altar'd State whole hanging out with a friend in the Water Tower. When I first saw the store I made fun of the entrance decor and thought it was semi basic and looked like a mix of Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters had a baby in Nashville. We decided to go into the store since we were killing time and I realized I am the person this store was made for. I accepted that I was in love with the store once I got excited about the different cowboy boots placed around the store and the random pastel clothing items. I made my way to the back of the store and stumble upon the sale items. My jaw dropped when I found a pair of knee high pink suede cowboy boots that were priced at $10.88. I thought it was an error because there were a lot of sale tags on it and hesitantly asked the nearest employee to me. She confirmed the price was accurate and I proceeded to hold onto those boots as if she was going to change her mind on the price. I was still doubtful even when going to the register and only believed it once it rang up for under $11. I also managed to find a cute pair of black jeans that were roughly 50%. Altar'd State is definitely my new favorite store because the clothes are my exact style! I highly recommend visiting the store.
