The teather it self is great but burgers are worst then from $1 McDonald's, you pay 17 bucks to get food poisoning. Got out of movies been throwing up for almost 2 hours already. Do not buy burgers there.

Nice downtown chicago vibes in slightly hidden mall in the heart of the loop. Great for tourists or a relaxing day to yourself. Good food drinks and friendly staff. Comfortable reclining chairs are a plus. Not much traffic during weekdays. Ordering is mostly digital and I did wish i could do it at my seat instead.

I haven't been to a mall in so long I forgot how much there is to do in one so I'll definitely be coming back to this AMC

I think it is a great experience, it makes you feel very special dining in. I mean, as you can imagine prices are crazy and add up fast, but still you don't need to order anything, and drinks are unlimited which I always appreciate. Theater was weirdly hot though, but it is summer.

This is a really nice movie theater even if it is a little expensive because all the tickets are going to come with that thing where they serve your food during your feature and it's actually pretty cool but it does make it cost more. One other thing to mention is to make sure to look at the kinds of tickets you're buying because I accidentally got the real 3D which didn't end up being a problem but I didn't know that's what I was getting

you know the part when nicole kidman says “that indescribable feeling when the lights begin to dim”?
well, here you never get that feeling, because they leave the lights on for the whole movie. dimmed, yes. but very much on. completely ruins the magic of the theater experience.

Staff was kind and amazing! I was taken aback by how pricey the tickets were, and I also found it odd that they never turned the lights down. Amazing staff, I just want to make sure that I emphasize how lovely they were.

Well, this experience was terrible from start to finish. First off, actually finding the theater in the mall was a challenge. After going up four escalators, we finally located it. The self-serve kiosk was confusing—you’re expected to order everything there for delivery to your seat, but then you have to go pick up half your order at the concession stand without any explanation that this is required. That was really “fun” to navigate.
Also loved the woman who decided to sit directly next to me in an otherwise empty theater. I mean, there were rows of empty seats, and she chose the one right next to mine. While the theater can’t really control that, it’s a prime example of why watching a movie in the city is a completely different experience than doing it in the suburbs.
Now, let’s talk about the main issue: the food. Forget the fact that only one soda machine was working or that there’s no way to request extra salt on your popcorn. Let’s focus on what was served.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad wrap—and I’m still trying to understand why the lettuce was full of sour white cores. The entire wrap was bitter and unappetizing because it was packed with the worst parts of the romaine: those tough, pale-white stalks that have no flavor except bitterness. There may have been half a chopped chicken breast thrown in, but that’s being generous. The only decent part of the meal was the fries.
And of course, my food didn’t even arrive with everyone else’s. I had to wait until halfway through the movie, then go out and ask where it was. As I was walking back, the server rushed to bring it to me—while I was still halfway down the hallway. Did she think I could teleport from the front desk to my seat in two seconds? So naturally, I had to go back out again to grab it.
All of that… for one of the worst wraps I’ve ever had.
NEVER AGAIN.
