BUYER BEWARE! Very slow service, which is very confusing when there seem to be several employees walking around communicating with each and not so much with actual customers.Very Disappointing!

I was greeted with a wonderful hello and the dr assistant was gentle with me explained every step of my exam and the dr was the same. Overall my experience today was absolutely great. Please make sure you let your staff know what excellent service I was given today. I will continue to be a customer odd Americas Best.

My visit was amazing. Everyone was super helpful, Jennifer and another sales associate (I wish I had gotten her name) helped me sort through numerous pairs of glasses to find the one that was just right for me and made a normally tedious process so smooth and easy. Dr. McIntire explained everything that was going on with my vision in easy-to-understand terms and the whole team made my visit one that was informative and didn't break the bank. I definitely recommend this location if you need vision testing!!!

I came in for my appointment this afternoon and was told the doctor was out of office because the staff that checked me in didn’t realize I had an appointment. When I came in the front door I was asked for my phone number and last name (I’m thinking this was to check me in for my appointment). They also asked if I had a previous eye prescription and to email it to them. As they were waiting for the email the staff instructed me to look at glasses. After a few minutes I was informed that my prescription was expired (which is why I made an appointment for an eye exam and glasses) and that I would have to come back in two hours to see the doctor because they didn’t realize when I checked in that I was there for an appointment. Very disappointment and unprofessional.

Today was the best Customer Service experience that I have had since before pandemic. Elizabeth at 214 S Wabash Ave Chicago, Illinois was outstanding, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and supportive to me today. Dec 12,2023. I felt heard and appreciated for my business and I wanted to make sure to thank her publicly the way I did in the store. Elizabeth “Liz” did more than her job she was a very proud employee and I hope that America’s Best rewards her for her genuine commitment to her work ethic and dedication towards her profession.

Today I went to America's Best on 214 S. Wabash and they were awesome. I had just left th Eye Institute and tried to get glasses from the Eye clinic but they will only service you every six years for glasses. I met Liz at America's Best and she was the Best customer service representative I have ever met. She cared about what I needed and made sure I got my glasses. The staff at 214 S. Wabash are just excellent in customer care but Liz takes her job seriously and gives you the BEST ADVICE about glasses. Liz made my day and I will always go to America's Best on 214 S. Wabash in Chicago Illinois. Again thank you Liz for being so awesome.

Been coming to this location for eyeglasses for over a decade! Very friendly staff and great options for frames. Elizabeth helped me this time to find a great fit! Appreciate people working here - very smooth process from booking appointment to choosing my pair of glasses.

Great location. The staff was professional and friendly. The technician that assisted me after my vision exam, Iesha was patient and helpful. She answered all of my questions and allowed me to take my time to make the best decision for my eyewear. It was a wonderful, stress-free experience.

HORRIBLE!!I have and my group of friends have been using America's Best for decades.This particular location is so shameful to innocent customers. We walk-in and manager is very busy all the time. Staff always busy. They never remember conversations they have with loyal customers and blame the customer when corrected.The minority women that works there older and manager are very RUDE and don't care for good service.We have been going to this location prior to 2016 and now it's worse. The manager(woman) has no respect and it's absolutely horrible and hence why employees disrespect customers such as the older black woman and Latin woman that talk lower while a customer is trying to explain the real truthful conversations

Elizabeth Saavedra (AKA Liz) was truly a pleasure to work with. She will be honest with glasses opinions, she will do everything she can to save you money, doesn't rush you, very knowledgeable (and funny). The worst part for me is trying to pick out the right glasses but she made it fun and I really enjoyed her company.
